Highly likely, yet it's going to be a tough task not conceding away at the Camp Nou against a Barcelona side surely very keen on making up for tonight. It's going to be a matter of pride and passion. PSG played a near-perfect type of football, had a slight slice of luck (Umtiti) - but overall, fully deserve this romp of a win. Absolutely classy, smooth as silk. Every single player, from goalkeeper to striker, was on fire. Rabiot and Verratti massive in midfield, Draxler and Di Maria ripping Barca's back four a new one. And that grit and determination from Meunier and Cavani. Outstanding.
Tuna Posted 14 February 2017 Posted 14 February 2017 At least we can say we did as well as Barcelona when we crash out in a few weeks.

But Barca have to score 5 without reply to win it without penalties. 6 if PSG score (which is quite likely).
Stadt Posted 14 February 2017 Posted 14 February 2017 Amazing considering PSG haven't been outstanding in the league for once. Monaco have been fantastic especially considering the amount of young players they've got. I'm fully expecting them to give Man City a game.
Innovindil Posted 14 February 2017 Posted 14 February 2017 Watching that psg right back tear barca a new bumhole makes you realise just how championship level Simpson is.
TheSomersetFox Posted 14 February 2017 Posted 14 February 2017 When are one of the big boys gonna get Verratti? Absolutely class every time I've seen him

Was going to say this. PSG are by all means a big boy. Look at their side for Christ's sake. One of the 'bigger' sides alluded to just got ****ing tanned 4-0 by the side he's currently at.
TheSomersetFox Posted 15 February 2017 Posted 15 February 2017 There are definitely clubs that are a step up from PSG. They are a top team no doubt
Guest Col city fan Posted 15 February 2017 Posted 15 February 2017 Good news that PSG hammered Barcelona last night! Surely that's left the door open for us to go on and win the CL now..

AKCJ Posted 15 February 2017 Posted 15 February 2017 Draxler was superb last night. A lot of Kevin De Bruyne about him. He was a steal for 30m

Teams will be saying that after seeing Simpson hit it diagonally out of play with no pressure for the 60th time. Great to see Barca get wrecked.

I know they're quite a 'new' club, but they've done enough to be considered one of the bigger clubs in Europe (in the bracket below Madrid, Barca, United, Bayern) An interesting side debate is that it's very difficult to shift your perception of club size in the modern game- it's almost like a lot of clubs won their trophies and built themselves up when club size was still being established, and gave themselves an elevated status in the game. I'm not saying we're a big club or deserve to be considered as one, but we were portrayed as a tiny club rather than a medium one when we won the league, as if Northampton had won it or something. It's as if everyone now has their place in the game, and has to accept it. I think you need to build a 'brand' to become a bigger club these days rather than just play at a higher level and win stuff- something which PSG have certainly done.
foxy boxing Posted 15 February 2017 Posted 15 February 2017 Barcelona play possession football and they try to pass the other teams to death and have so much of the ball but it's not that exciting. well done PSG a massive win and surely in the next round although you still wouldn't bet on it because it is Barcelona!
Jattdogg Posted 15 February 2017 Posted 15 February 2017 Love to see barca lose. But even at 4 nil you cant count them out. Watch the cvnts win 6 nil at home
maddog Posted 15 February 2017 Author Posted 15 February 2017 Come on Arsenal Take Bayern out please.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 15 February 2017 Posted 15 February 2017 Wish Albrighton did that after he cuts inside
IOWFOX Posted 15 February 2017 Posted 15 February 2017 It was like coquelin had never heard of or seen robben play before, mental.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 15 February 2017 Posted 15 February 2017 Great finish I must say, but that's very shoddy from Arsenal there, it's like they ran away from him! You don't even need to do any scouting and know that is Robbens signature move
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 15 February 2017 Posted 15 February 2017 Superb goal although space given to him is laughable. And why the **** does Cech not start?! Wenger losing it
Finnegan Posted 15 February 2017 Posted 15 February 2017 Loving the enormous, powerful front three of Mertens, Insigne and Callejon. Giant. Wes and Simpson would still be hitting fifty yard balls at them vs Ramos.
