FrankieADZ Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Time to go Claudio, Thanks for last season but he's got to go now if we want to have any chance of staying up
leicesterlad1989 Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Huge Ranieri fan and I wont ever forget what he helped us achieve last year but he has got to go. What else can we do? We have changed the players, albeit a complete overhaul. We have tried new formations. We have heard the attempts of a rallying cry from the manager but nothing has changed. Come Wednesday night, we are likely to be out of the tie against Seville. I cant see what else we can do to turn our fortunes. There is no doubt that the players have Claudio and the fans down but we can't sack them all. We clearly cant replace them all. The only other option is a change in management. Mr Ranieri, thank you but there is no room for sentiment in football.
stevelcfc Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Just get out, you've given us our greatest season, but you've also corroded everything good we had. No identity left.
GloverFox Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 ... Oh dear ... another bad day at the office! Whilst id be the first to say it's painful to lose anytime, losing to a lower league ten man side is just plain shocking as we have once again been exposed as a very poor side. Argue all you want that it was an eleven man B team, the opposition just clearly wanted it more and just deserve it more for that very reason. But rounding on CR isn't the answer, we have so much more going wrong at the club this season ... so just firing him isn't going to be the total solution! Even if it does make a whole lot of us feel better briefly ....

Monsell1976 Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 This is going passed being an option, wether to sack him or not. These players are not playing for him, when you think the performances can't get more pathetic, they just get more pathetic. Sorry Claudio, thanks for last season, but these shit players are wrecking everything you have done, time to go, for the better of the club, they might start trying once he's gone

Even then, people acting like this is the lowest we've ever sunk are guilty of forgetting that there was 131 years of history before last season where we pulled this sort of thing off every couple of years. Then you don't know the first thing about our history. know plenty thanks, we were never champions when we lost those games so this along with our season is an embarrassment
Joefox Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 You accept the accolades for achieving something amazing but you also have to accept responsibility for this absolute embarrassment of a season.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 While that was shocking. You want to get rid of the manager days before the the last 16 game against Saville? Baffling...

Being champions doesn't make this more embarrassing than getting pumped without a fight at our biggest rivals, or going out at home to a teletext transfer
superfox1980 Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Laughing stock of English football. Good bye Claudio, you had a chance to really cement our club in the top half of the PL and build for the future and hopefully challenging for things. Absolutely pathetic season. Gutted.
ARM1968 Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 I didn't miss either. You really think the lack of effort in this squad isn't comparable?
tetly Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 We are going backwards every week no improvement. We need fresh ideas just resing please.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 I'm gunna put Radio Leicester on for the bants. Lets here what Steve from Hinckley or John from Nuneaton reckon.

What he gave us last season is a fairytale. Go sport Man City or Chelsea if you aren't happy. This is normality for Leicester. No loyalty in football anymore

This doesn't even make the top 5 since the turn of the millenium, let alone our full 132 year history. We weren't the reigning champions for any of those.

It's simply heartbreaking and I've not given up hope (yet). But our recent performances have been absolutely awful, no goals scored in the league this year, and now this. Sound familiar? Can you see similarities and a kind of history repeating itself? We've still got something to play for - putting up a fight against Sevilla is all we can hope for, plus Premier League survival - yet I've seen nothing to indicate our team has the heart and the desire to wear this shirt with pride. That's what's most embarrassing of it all, coupled with the manager's constant sugarcoating of the freefall. All the fight and impetus has been slowly, but steadily sucked out of this club since last summer and we've not handled the situations or issues as professional as we should have. Today's result reeks of Wycombe in the cup, and we're closing in on the level of shamefulness reminiscent of that Stoke game that sent us down to League One.

Just tried to find what our results were following that game - I have a horrible idea that it was this fixture that triggered that horrendous run of losses. Thankfully, couldn't find the evidence so will pretend we had a fabulous reaction and went unbeaten for the rest of the season.
Mike Oxlong Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Claudio saying they played with more desire and more heart than us Well that is just unforgivable Too many stealing a living
whetstonefox Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Doesn't seem to matter who plays, what formation we look useless and clueless , can't see how it's going to improve
