This has gone far enough and miles beyond anything like that. He's stripped off so much pride and undone so much of what we had going for us that he completely deserves the sack. Nobody who puts their time and money in to supporting the team this season deserves this. The bloke is utterly clueless. Our league one team would beat us now. I agree with a lot of that, as I said, I think he should probably go. But he gave us the best most magical season and day in the history of the club, it was amazing and I'll remember it for the rest of my life but I doubt anyone will remember this season. I totally understand the anger but that's no excuse for such a lack of respect. Just because he won us the league doesn't mean he deserves to stay or to be exempt from criticism but it does, and I cannot believe I'm saying this, mean he should be exempt from told to f off and called a fraud by the very fans he gave a magical season to, all I'm saying is he deserves respect and your post had none of it
andy peake Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 I rarely post on this forum but have been a member a long time. Raineri is not going to walk out of a fat contract and the owners won't contemplated sacking him whilst we're still in Europe. The only thing that may make them act is if the crowd start turning on him at home games. It's a nasty way to apply pressure but you can moan all you like on foxestalk or bentleys etc. But only action at the stadium will make the owners take notice. And yes I think it's time for him to go.

People who are acting like we couldn't do a simple job are showing themselves to be comically unaware of football - the sort of band-wagoners we'll happily jettison soon. Frustrating to have gone out, even more so like this, but people acting like it was inconceivable are arrogant to the extreme I've heard some excuses over the years but a bit of a bad patch on the pitch? Give over. I watched Leicester teams play fabulous football on the footballing equivalent of a ploughed field. Gibbo would use the mud as a ball stop, Crossy and McLintock as a launch pad and Frank Large as something heavy to carry on his boots to make his impact more pronounced. .

pazzerfox Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 He should have gone weeks ago..The rot has set in and it's going to be hard for anyone to turn this shambles around. This second season is similar to Svens tenure.
Koke Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 I really really want CR to change it around but for the love of god, change the fecking tune ffs.
HankMarvin Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Leicester City failed to score for the seventh time in 10 competitive games in 2017 should be sacked just for that

Joefox Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 To those who don't think he shouldn't be sacked - at what point would you say it would be reasonable to sack him?

And it's a pity they didn't seem to understand in pre-season either. One step forward's not worth two steps back or even more.

Guest Mee-9 Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 At the end of the day, take this season as it is. An extremely poor season, in which we've under-achieved, spent millions on rubbish and played awfully. Any manager shouldn't last in those circumstances.

andy peake Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 I wish. No I'm not same initial though! but I thought he was a good player in his time even if he didn't really go on to realise his full potential.
Lovejoy Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 For me it boils down to one simple question. Can you see Ranieri turning it around?

Jack Allen Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 last season was a dream come true for every single one of us this season hes completely clueless and after watching that absolute crap, he needs to go.
BenTheFox Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 I might get stick for making the comparison, but people have been doing it for a while. I completely agree that we wouldn't have won the league under Nigel Pearson and I wouldn't trade last season for anything. However, I don't think Ranieri could have done what Pearson did here either in terms of rebuilding the football club and actually investing in the infrastructure to get us where we need to be.
tetly Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 He a clown we have been found out time for a new trick. Sack him

foxes_rule1978 Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 He will gain a lot more respect back if he just walked and admitted he has lost the players. There is only one direction we are heading if we allow this to continue
GavParket Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Devils Advocate - we go unbeaten in the next 5 games, people who want him to go right now, would you still want him gone then? My opinion - if he goes now, no one would come in to make any difference. Keep the faith.

Trouble is there is a collective loss of belief or motivation not only with two or three first team members but throughout the whole squad. None of the reserves who have come in for the cup games has shown the ability or drive to put themselves for first team selection. I read an interesting report on an Arsenal v Chelsea game when Ranieri was in charge. It was 0-0 at half time but he wanted to make some changes. Apparently the arguments between Raniieri and the players were so loud they could be heard in the Arsenal dressing room. Chelsea lost 3-1. He was great for us given the circumstances last year working on a basis built by Pearson but he has form and has had some very poor seasons amongst a few good ones. Once we get done in Seville I'd put Shakespeare in charge. I'm no Pearson fan but we need a short term motivator until the end of the season like him (sometimes) or O'Neill.
