He will feature i'm sure, I think Shakey wanted to get the team back into some winning ways. Amartey, Ndidi and Mendy willl probably be on some sort of rotation

IMO Id at least give him a place on the bench over Andy King.

IMHO, you'd be very wrong!

IMVHO, we haven't seen enough to make an informed comment.

Galatasaray want him and he wants out by all accounts

Perhaps he doesn't feel he's in the in crowd as it was Claudio who wanted him at Leicester.

In his one of his first interviews he did say he would do what the manager wanted him to do......... Novel idea that is

It is reported by FotoMac that Turkish giants Galatasaray are hoping to sign him in the summer. The Istanbul club tried to sign him in 2015 but failed and are now hopeful of successfully renewing that interest. They would not be able to afford the 24-year-old, but are said to be hopeful of bringing him in on loan.

Mendy suffered an injury at the start of the season and has gone on to play just nine times this season, mostly in the cup competitions.

Erm when did I say all crap signings are Ranieri's? Claudio wanted Mendy over Kante originally after working with him at Monaco. He was then talked in to Kante by Walsh but reverted back to singing him when we lost n'golo. I am not blaming Claudio just saying it was one of his signings and maybe Shakey thinks he's shit?

It just seems to be a standard reaction to any player that hasn't made an impact.

Mendy got a long injury at the beginning and when he came into the side the whole team was absolutely woeful and losing every week.

I'd be interested to see how he gets on playing in a winning, confident Leicester team.

You only have to look at Kramaric at Hoffenheim to see the difference in how decent a player looks when he's playing in a confident winning team as opposed to up front on his own in a team losing every week.

Yeah, this is my problem with our Summer signings. It seems like we signed players for a 433 passing game (Hernandez, Mendy) with countering as well (Musa), but then abandoned it.

Passing game or any other game Premiership players have got to be good at something and the two you mentioned weren't. Hernandez wasn't quick enough for a start so his passing ability was counter-balanced by his being a liability at full-back and far too soft as a centre-back. As for Musa he's quick. but then so is an enema. His close control, passing, ability to shield the ball and finishing have been woefully lacking at Premiership level so what could we possibly have continued to utiise him for?

I've not totally written him off. Vardy was left out of our team in the early stages of his career here and responded by improving various aspects of his game, particularly his close control. If Musa does that then who knows whether he has a future here. I just wouldn't bet on it.

But Andy King is a very average, limited footballer. But even unfit, Mendy is a better athlete.

Don't get me wrong, I've not been immensely impressed by Mendy so far but King's value to us is basically 95% sentimental.

If King was a recent signing not our own product there'd be queues forming to drive him back to wherever he came from.

King or Mendy? The debate's laughable even with King seemingly winding down.

Kram has 7 goals in 23 bundesliga appearances this year, hardly lighting it up. I agree on Mendy though we shouldn't write him off when nobody was playing well in that period. The only slight difference is Ndidi came in to that shite and still looked good.

For their old clubs, Hernandez and Mendy were excellent comfortable passers.

I agree with you about Musa. I want to believe he'll turn out alright though.

I know Tony, Mendy all day long.

He was injured most of the season, and then entered a highly dysfunctional team, as a player brought in by a manager the team wanted sacked. He's not had the best of starts.

Up until these last two matches, most of the performances have been poor, and this includes Mendy's. They've suddenly turned it around. We should give him the same chance.

We've been playing hoof ball for 3/4 of the season with bizarre tactics.

Why are you sure he'll play a part? For me it would need an injury to two out of Drinky, NDidi, Amartey and King for him to even get a place on the bench. He's been poor since pre season and influences a game even less than Kingy.

Going to be difficult for him with the limited number of remaining games, to get into the side. I don't see there being any drastic change in formation for the remainder of the season. So he is competing against Amartey & Ndidi for the 'defensive mid' role, and Drinky & Kingy for the 'holding playmaker' role. Tough gig for him, and he looks to be behind all of them, looking at Shakeys benches in the last two games.

Waste of money just like Musa.

Bit harsh! We needed to speculate to accumulate when it came to replacing Kante. It would appear we might have found an adequate one, with great potential, at the third time of asking with Ndidi.
