Jorge Sampaoli's side were defeated by the Foxes in Europe, but were extremely gracious after exiting the continental competition

La Liga club Sevilla have shown their class after being knocked out of the Champions League.

The Spanish side were defeated 3-2 on aggregate by the Premier League champions, losing 2-0 at the King Power Stadium in the second leg to exit the competition.

Steven N'Zonzi missed a late penalty for Sevilla to help them level the tie, while Samir Nasri was sent off for the visitors. Goals from Wes Morgan and Marc Albrighton helped Leicester to a second leg win and sent them through to the last eight.

Despite the disappointment of being knocked out, Sevilla took to Twitter to send their good wishes to Leicester for the rest of the competition writing "We wish LCFC the best of luck in the Champions League."

We wish @LCFC the best of luck in the @ChampionsLeague

Leicester now await the draw for the quarter-final of the Champions League, while Sevilla turn their attentions back to La Liga.

Sevilla fans attacked Juventus fans and stabbed one, they started fights in town before the game and vandalised Apres lounge, they were fighting with the police to get out after the game and some of them attacked my friends too.

No, the Sevilla fans were not fine.

First I've heard of fans fighting before our game. Why would they fight the police to get out after the game when it was Leicester fans who were held back?

commonplace in spanish football. half spanish me, been to lots of games, pretty much all the fans are millwall fans but far less intimidating.

Never said a gracious word in the build up to the game. Found their fans arrogant, their staff similar (did anyone notice the flare up with their bench and our West Stand?) and their Police absolute thugs (I hope Fernando and Jose of the Policia had a real shit night last night)

Good riddance, a long time since I've wanted to beat someone like that.

Before anyone defends their fans. They have a history of stabbing fans, caused trouble at last years Europa league final. This CL campaign alone they have racked up arrests and they look for trouble. A known record but absolutely great seeing them all upset last night.

Yeah basically this. Doesn't matter how you come across on Twitter, your players are babies, your fans are cowards and your police are corrupt.

Every club has its quota of morons but the 10 or 15 Sevilla fans I spoke with over the course of yesterday were very friendly and there for the right reasons. Good luck to them in La Liga

What, you mean like when we were in Seville, the few lads causing a bit of trouble meant it was OK for people to blast our whole fan base as an 'embarrassment' etc etc? You can't have it both ways mate.

From what I saw they came across as right wankers. I saw one guy applauding our fans at the end and our fans were literally queuing up to shake his hand. Then behind him you had 100-200 blokes foaming at the mouth trying to break through the Police line to get at mainly families walking out from the East stand/ the Kop.

Wishing your opposition good luck on social media is up there with goal music in the things that have no place in football chart.

The fans do not want to see it - it doesn't show class, it shows that your social media team are a bunch of tarts.

No, but that doesn't disqualify what @fuchsntf said. Two wrongs don't make a right, so why, if generalisations about us aren't true, generalizations about others must be true?

Yeah, sod it. Let's just believe everything we're told and say the first thing that comes into our head as if it were fact.

Who needs truth?

If they can be gracious in defeat, we can be the same in victory. No major incidents at the ground or in the city. Credit where it's due.

I suspect part of the issue is that there is a mentality that we own violence, just like we are supposedly better than dirty foreigners.

Although when our boys get in a fight it's never their fault is it?

Gracious in defeat and generous, true gentlemen.
