casablancas Posted 17 April 2017 Posted 17 April 2017 I want to let slip the dogs of war. That actually gave me chills.
stripeyfox Posted 17 April 2017 Posted 17 April 2017 It wouldn't suprise me if half (or more) of the people in the stadium have no idea whether they were watching a Union FS tifo or a LCFC one.

This foot stamping tantrum like behaviour epitomises why I think the club has done this! And because that decision was made the precious ones whose toy has been taken away resort to negativity, name calling and dissing before the display happens and purely because they have not got the gig....... that's what I find sad. And to clarify I think the tifos UFS do are very clever and good, apart from the last one. I also appreciate the hard work and endeavour, however for whatever reason the Club have decided to take the mantle this time so just accept it and drop the petulance you don't have a divine right and this is life, you don't always get your own way you know! You do realise there has been no actual 'petulance' from Union FS? They've clearly e-mailed contributors personally and privately to say that the one they had planned was blocked by the Club and offered a refund of the donations if people had felt let down by the group on this occasion. A fair enough and responsible approach that shows no social media 'foot stamping tantrum' from UFS, even if being told there'd be no tifo only for there to subsequently be one probably does justify one in my eyes.

Now who is jumping to conclusions? At no point did I say UFS, I directly gave my opinion about the people moaning in this thread. If they belong to UFS or not my point remains the same. If you actually read my point as opposed to being sensitive and jumping to conclusions you will read I was complementary and praised UFS for work on previous Tifos. Glad to hear you guys haven't thrown your dummies out and accept fully that the club have the total right to do what they want.

It's a few seconds and the important thing is 90+ minutes of supporting not a few seconds of holding some foil up or waving a flag. Decisions been made, moaning and bleating helps and changes feck all! The only tantrums and hissy fits seem to have blue tinted specs?
CockneyFox Posted 17 April 2017 Posted 17 April 2017 We know from previous tifo's that some fans have complained (on social media) about not seeing the players emerging from the tunnel etc; maybe the club has had some complaints which may have driven them to decline UFS this time around?

Aus Fox Posted 17 April 2017 Posted 17 April 2017 Maybe they have deliberately put the yellow there. So we can wave them anytime there is one of their players within 3 feet of on of ours.

Btw the club are not doing a 'tifo'

I suspect this might have happened. It's a shame if true. Maybe there could be some compromise in future so that we can do the tifos, whilst not upsetting people who want to see the players coming out of tunnel? It wasn't nice to get all the abuse that we were getting at the time regardless. We just want to create an atmosphere that we can be proud of.
