Bristol fox .... Posted 17 April 2017 Posted 17 April 2017 Actually i think it looks class and i fully support what the club is trying to do, like wise i support union fs in what they try to do. Sevilla was union fs tifo and tmrw is the clubs tifo. wether your for or against just wave those flags sing loud and be proud of what we all have achieved. GREAT ESCAPE, PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS.. QUARTER FINALS OF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE..
BenTheFox Posted 17 April 2017 Posted 17 April 2017 For the record, I have no problem with the flags. If it was a choice between them and having the clappers at every game, I'd chose the flags all day long.

It wasn't one of their best ones imo. I really couldn't care less if there is a Tifo or not to be quite honest. I'm there for the football. Amuses me how people get their knickers in a twist if you dare to have an opinion

Babylon Posted 18 April 2017 Posted 18 April 2017 Looks fine with me. People sneer at others wanting to "see the players come out". It's a bit more than that, all these one off games could be our last ever in this competition. I'd love to be able to see the stadium, the players, the fans, listening to the music and soak it all in for something to remember. I loved the Seville game, but being stood behind some plastic doesn't really add anything or me and won't be a memory I take away. It's easy to say "don't stand there", but not everyone will know it's happening, you can't have 100's / 1000's stood out of their seats even if they did.
LinekersApples Posted 18 April 2017 Posted 18 April 2017 Matching tie available for those who are interested...

This foot stamping tantrum like behaviour epitomises why I think the club has done this! And because that decision was made the precious ones whose toy has been taken away resort to negativity, name calling and dissing before the display happens and purely because they have not got the gig....... that's what I find sad. And to clarify I think the tifos UFS do are very clever and good, apart from the last one. I also appreciate the hard work and endeavour, however for whatever reason the Club have decided to take the mantle this time so just accept it and drop the petulance you don't have a divine right and this is life, you don't always get your own way you know! To be fair, I think the biggest tantrum has come from you in this thread
Ted Maul Posted 18 April 2017 Posted 18 April 2017 Looks good- disappointed that they overruled Union FS, but that will be decent enough.
lgfualol Posted 18 April 2017 Posted 18 April 2017 Looks pretty cool to be fair. I was expecting it to be the dead thai king or something.
Ashley Posted 18 April 2017 Posted 18 April 2017 We've got fireworks as well tonight at the ground, they're attached to the roof.
sylofox Posted 18 April 2017 Posted 18 April 2017 Has anyone thought it may have been stopped for security reasons. The police and uefa may not want in vetted people in the ground working. The decision may have been made after the Dortmund attack.

TheUltimateWinner Posted 18 April 2017 Posted 18 April 2017 Would have preferred a Union FS one as they're always superior, but this should still look good. Either way the atmosphere comes down to the noise the fans make, not a display. Looking forward to the fireworks!

Leicester69 Posted 18 April 2017 Posted 18 April 2017 My flag will go in the exact same space as my clapper goes every game...under my seat, out of the way....not seen a more pointless thread on here than this one, and cant believe how wound up so many people get about a flag/tifo etc...will it make you shout/sing/clap any louder?? Credit UFS, whatever they do looks good, but it doesn't change whether I sing/shout/clap...the match/team sets the tempo and atmosphere and there has never been a game bigger than this one..that is what ramped it up v Sevilla, and will ramp it up more later. FFS get some perspective...it is the Champions League QF, the fella in the middle of the pitch playing the Post Horn Gallop gets the hairs on the back of my neck up every time I hear it...that's enough...now move on lads, stop squabbling over a flag/banner!! 1-0 city, squeaky bum time...and then pens...surely we're due to win one, Celtic didn't count!

leicesterseddon Posted 18 April 2017 Posted 18 April 2017 I'd be surprised if there are fireworks...UEFA don't even let us play PHG! Don't like flags but let's face it we're a laughing stock anyway because of the clappers so it's not as if things can get much worse. Had to laugh at that bloke at Palace during half time during the kids' penalty thing, when he turned around to us and shouted "come on Leicester fans, get your clappers out". When the staff at Palace are taking the piss you know it's bad... Agree with other posters though - there's bugger all we can do about it now so let's just get on with it
Lobsterboyuk Posted 18 April 2017 Posted 18 April 2017 A commercial football club can't ever do a "tifo". The word is derived from Tifosi meaning "fans", it's a display of flags...

The Sevilla tifo by UFS was really good but anyone attributing either the atmosphere or the performance to that is soft in the head. It was the occasion and it'll be the occasion again tonight regardless of what anyone waves before kick off.
