Wymsey Posted 14 July 2017 Share Posted 14 July 2017 Probably too soon to be announced for such a big global domestic league competition, but hope the new 'Virtual Assistant' referee method to apparently help referees during key decisions/moments won't come into effect this season. It seems to cause a lot of delay and also spoils the moment of the situation in everyone waiting for the referee to decide what to do based on the system. From what I heard, he had a great start whilst at Torino, and then started to make big silly errors towards the end of his time there? Hence they probably don't want the risk of buying him for an over-inflated amount considering he can be great but also very sloppy other times, and his massive (apparently) wage demands on top (both clubs paying 50% of his salary) wouldn't make it good value if they decided to sign him up permanently initially - so think they made the right proposal in getting him in just for a loan at first, but if he impresses - they can sign him permanently after.
