lol they actually do look bloody similar

Posted

To be fair even Stormzy acknowledges the similarity and uses it for a lyric in one of his songs.

It's extremely poor journalism from the Herald but let's not make (indirect) accusations about people on here on the basis that two people genuinely do look fairly similar.

They knew full well that wasn't Lukaku and they knew exactly who it was lol he acknowledges the similarities but he doesn't condone it based on his tweet today. The whole thing just seems very disrespectful and in bad taste

I'd love it if Koeman could get Rooney to even 90% of the player he was. I would like him playing behind Kane or Vardy for England if that happens.

I'd like to think he's been so shit for ages because Moyes, van Gaal and Mourinho aren't the most attacking of managers and have simply mismanaged him.

You lose your physical attributes as you age, which Rooney has, but you shouldn't lose your technical ability, eye for goal, ability to trap the ball, etc which for some reason he had appeared to.

If Koeman can revitalise him for a couple of years it would be brilliant.

Don't blame the managers, he's been sh1t for ages cos  he became  sh1t.

Sure, he was once a shining star...now burnt out.

He doesn't condone the similarities?

My point was that a few replies had said they look similar and in reply some suggestive remarks were made.  Regardless of the newspaper article, people can have the opinion on someone looking like someone else without any malice. Maybe people have previous on that matter which I'm unaware of, so I'll leave it there.

People get their knickers in a twist over Lukaku and Stormzy?

I'd have loved to see you when BILD in Germany used Amartey's photo for a story about Ahmed Musa allegedly hitting his wife after the Sunderland match.

Burnley's announcement video was horrendous. I'm so glad we haven't gone up that route.

Oh dear, just watched it now I want to puke. These things are too cheesy to be true.

Why is Burnley's training ground a Victorian Lancashire tenant farm? Tinpot.

Because it's not our training ground. The team are in Dublin at the moment and that's where the photo was taken.
