Imagine bolstering your attack even further but still starting with Lovren and Moreno. If Klopp doesn't sort out his defence then he is a very overrated manager for me.

Edit: Mignolet as well! He is simply not a keeper to win you a league.

In general is the gulf of quality of attacking players and defenders getting wider in the Prem? Even most of the top teams you look at their back line as their weakness

The same goes for Man City, I know Man City have bought 3? 4? new defender but i'm still suspect over them.

Liverpool going forward are up there with the leagues best, Man City are the best going forward but with their poor defences they're winning nothing.

However you feel about them, Spurs have a solid defence and that's why they kept up a challenge the last two years.

Yeah they are undoubtedly the best defensive unit in the league

,Liverpoo'ls defending is poor, as was ours last night, In defence you need a leader someone who barks out the orders keeps it tight, it's clear we and Pool are in the same boat there, no leader.

To be fair we didn't have one when we won the league

Teams like Arsenal and Liverpool are willing to spunk £30-40 million on attackers, yet still remain with the same shite defences they've had for years.

Watford's midfield are bossing this, Doucoure and Chalobah been class and fair play to Kaboul, he has had Firmino in his pocket.

A lot of people were laffing at Watford before today, suggesting one of the relegation favourites. And of course they could be.

I tell you something. Watching them just now, id rather have their midfield. They look solid and strong in that area.

Having watched 1 and 1/2 prem games so far this season I'll say that Arsenal and Liverpool are not going to win the league. Also that they'd be ideal locations for Mahrez.

Attack wins matches. Defence wins titles. Liverpool and Arsenal are great examples of the latest fad in fun to watch football. That's why Chelsea won the title last year and we won it the year before.

Liverpool buy Salah, Arse buy Lacazette, Chelsea buy Kanté.

We need to use the Mahrez money to buy another RB and CB and strenghten our defence. Attack looks fine.

Chalobah is a great signing for them, him coming in instantly helps matters. Pereyra coming back from injury is like having a new signing.

Watford have brought well in the midfield and attacking areas, the defence will be their problem again.

No not really. Get Drinkwater back, with Wilf and James fully fit and I think we'll be ok.

Mo Salah instantly looking like the player he did the last time he was in the Prem. Very quick.
