Sir Shep Posted 12 August 2017 Posted 12 August 2017 Sooooooo, we're level in points with the champions!
Stadt Posted 12 August 2017 Posted 12 August 2017 De Boer isn't a good appointment, doesn't suit Palace at all and is the most plan A manager ever.
StriderHiryu Posted 12 August 2017 Posted 12 August 2017 Man for all negatives modern football sometimes has attached to it you can't help but be in admiration of the Premier League. What an opening weekend?! Well done Huddersfield!!! 1
urban.spaceman Posted 12 August 2017 Posted 12 August 2017 Huddersfield have been top of the Premier League for longer than Spurs have in the last 3 years. 2 2
simFox Posted 12 August 2017 Posted 12 August 2017 Burnley hung in, great win for them. Nerves towards the end though, hard for the smaller teams to shake the big team mentality..
Suzie the Fox Posted 12 August 2017 Posted 12 August 2017 And to complete todays games Brighton beat Man City 4-2. 1
theessexfox Posted 12 August 2017 Posted 12 August 2017 Imagine having Yaya, Sterling and Sane on the bench.

Stadt Posted 12 August 2017 Posted 12 August 2017 Man City have so much attacking depth, probably the best in the world. Stones and Otamendi are the week links though.
Melbourne Fuchs Posted 12 August 2017 Posted 12 August 2017 My score predictions are a bit off this week, Chelsea 4-0 Burnley? Couldn't have been more wrong.

KingsX Posted 12 August 2017 Posted 12 August 2017 You look at those lineups and you have to feel, we've seen the last of the giant killing for today.
Dan Posted 12 August 2017 Posted 12 August 2017 Surely no-one can be seriously worried that we'll go down this year.

I said it before, I'm not too bothered about losing to the big teams as long as the play style is enjoyable and the team scores goals. With yesterday's performance (minus the inexperienced mistakes like taking a midfielder off for a striker while you are away against a top team), top 7-10 is very realistic for the club . 1
Jattdogg Posted 12 August 2017 Posted 12 August 2017 I felt like i grew a cvnt and got kicked in it last night. Then liverpool, chelsea and crystal palace happened today lol. Must win next week against brighton because united game will be tough.
matty98 Posted 12 August 2017 Posted 12 August 2017 Knockaert on the bench, hope Brighton get relegated

Carl the Llama Posted 12 August 2017 Posted 12 August 2017 Bit of a harsh yellow that, didn't look deliberate. Agreed that it should have been whistled up and treated as deliberate since it would have had a pretty big impact on the match but it's a bit jobsworthy to give the mandatory yellow too.
