I think most people are resigned to losing him, doesn't however mean we should just fold and sell him on the cheap.

I agree, and personally i dont have an issue with this. However ... 

 

No one has put in a bid for him (as is reported earlier in this thread.) The only apparent interest is from Arsenal and they have apparently stated they won't pay over £35m for him.

 

He is still under contract and im sure will be in the starting 11 if he is still here. It will then be up to him to prove his worth as a player so come January, clubs will be knocking on the door for him.

I do not intervene in order to take sides even if I am Algerian, I understand your positions as a supporter and I am aware that Riyadh would be nothing without Leicester.

I saw that you were talking about Boudebouz, he is in the top 4 of the best passers in the French championship for 2 years, 20-21 passes in two years in a very modest club which must be the equivalent of crystal palace at home.
He is a good player, he is a high quality passer, he can play 10 or right, he scored 4 goals on direct free kick, good technique on the small perimeter.

Regardless of the stance you have on that video, the fact that he's turned back up at the office so to speak, having said he's off, must be a little embarrassing for the bloke.

 

"This place isn't good enough for me" Mahrez now appears to have drawn another blank.

I'm sure there have been plenty of enquiries, but we're sticking to the £50m thing and it's scaring people off. They are all waiting for Mahrez to throw his toys out further and for us to accept something in the £30m / £35m range.

Exactly!

 

Lets just hope that Mahrez doesn't go down the childish route and decides to buckle down and show other clubs he is worth the asking price.. on the other side of the coin if he is an ass.. i really hope we, as a club set a precedence and stick to our asking fee (or close to it)

 

Time will tell, i guess.

With these images of him at the club base, he could may well change his mind.

He understands he's at a well-run club who've developed him into what he can be, and although he may not go to another destination he wants to - the club wouldn't have allowed him back in had they think he was disrespecting them or any person at the club.

If Mahrez is still here on deadline day and Arsenal need him then they will pay the money. If they don't we've got a player we rate at 50m for another year. There is not a single valid reason to sell for less than the asking price.
