Until the fee is paid, he will remain a Leicester player and I'm sure we'll enjoy the Mahrez we all know and love. I'll be gutted if we sell him but downright angry if we let him go for less than the 50m we've set.

It's not like he plays for France or anything is it, I know Algeria are going through their golden era but the idea that he'd be dropped is a bit far fetched

Love how everyone's going mad over that 10 second clip. Has nobody ever seen Mahrez outside of a football pitch before? The guy is the most laid back, non plussed dude in the world. I love it.

A ton of bile and hate on this thread for one of our best players ever. I would say I hope he leaves so that some of you get what you want and he goes and tears it up for another team but I wont, as I want him to stay and be part of this new team we are building. This season for me a is bigger test and proof of what we can do. I want him to be a part of it. 

 

As others have pointed out, he's said far less about not wanting to be here than Leo did. Leo had a vendetta against Ranieri though, so it's ok...

 

Finally, no one lobbing insults at the source of the video? Radio Leicester knew exactly what they were doing and showed their now standard levels of class as tabloid wannabe shit stirrers.

I'm sorry but I see no hate, I see strong opinions, opinions that can be backed up, no hate.

 

I wrote this in another thread the other week;

I think that Mahrez has to leave if he wishes evolved in his carriére, he(it) will not give more has Leicester and I am even afraid that it is no more interest for this club.
He(It) needs a club which tempts him(her) to surpass itself, he(it) knows that he cannot do better than the season 2016.
Leicester needs player concerned with a lot of desire(envy), Riyadh does not want any more and we were able to notice it last year.

Thank you for posting and you are spot on he has lost his desire for us. Problem is will other prospective buyers be put off by his unprofessional attitude?. Seems so to me

I'm not going (a) call out people specifically for comments and (b) be arsed to go back through the 128+ pages to pull out examples (of which there are many). 

 

RL could have posted any number of pictures of videos of Riyad at training today. You are telling me they picked that one out of all the ones that could have been taken today to confirm he was there without any thought of the reaction it would bring? They knew it was click bate.

I think he will have a different attitude in another club, it's sad to say but I think.
I think he is rushing because he is 26 years old and has always dreamed of evolving in a big club, without breaking to respect Leicester which marked the history of the English championship, even here we are admiring before your successes, Even in the league of the champions.
But the question is, what is the point of keeping a player who no longer wants to be? As I said before, he will change completely by going elsewhere, because there will be competition, he has none here, even when he is bad he plays and it is a real problem.
Ranierie do not hesitate to take it out after two or three bad performances.
