pazzerfox Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 Might be a tough summer i'm afraid. Mahrez and Kasper will be sort after, as well as Drinks.
sk3since03 Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 I think it depends who comes calling! If Man U have a genuine intrest and they put a bid in i think he'd go Other than Man U though, personally i think he will stay! Give him the armband and he's on the path to becoming one of the club greats in years to come
theboyC Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 He has to go ! Its his next step , Good luck to him as well. He deserves it , following in his dads footsteps. Manchetsre united is his home in a way. Its a club he grew up in.
jon1bc Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 Drinky has been poor all season as is lucky to be in the starting 11. He's going nowhere. Kasper, Mahrez and Vardy could go and if they do then i worry about our status in the PL
Samt Posted 7 May 2017 Author Posted 7 May 2017 I agree, I don't think I would mind if he went to Man U as it's his dream, I would be shocked if he went anywhere else though

Either that or you cannot manage to stay on topic.
Bayfox Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 Think it depends who comes in with a bid. If ge gea leaves and utd come in i have no doubt he will fancy that challenge even if it means the comparisons to dad come back. Everton/liverpool/arsenal etc i'm not so sure man city i can't decide if pep would actually want him or it's an easy press link to make. Only offers from abroad may turn his head other than united for me. As for the others mentioned. Who realistically is gonna offer the sort of money we would want for mahrez after this season? I think the owners would still want 40 million. I think again unless sanchez or erikson left the north london losers who pays that sort of money barca to sit on the bench? Psg not many others. I wouldn't be overly bothered if drinky left for good money i'd be more bothered if we lose Ndidi the 1st 200 million pound player
Guest Danny Clender Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 All depends on De Gea. If he goes and they offer serious money for Schmeichel, then yes, there's a big chance he goes. Man City working with Pep would be attractive, but the Man U connection would be the easiest way to appease us. It will be a massive loss and we would have to spend big on Pickford immediately, if there was a chance. I'm hoping the "bigger" clubs want him to mature at a team like us first. Its the one to watch.
Moksky Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 De Gea is 100% off, United are not looking at Kasper as no.1 replacement.

Farrington fox Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 If Kasper goes we should be going after boy Pickford. He is quality.
WigstonWanderer Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 Commentator quoted Kasper as saying he was happy at Leicester and that he would be staying. Not sure if the quote is correct or if Kasper meant it. I think he'd feel compelled to leave if a CL side made a bid, otherwise it might be construed as him bottling it. Wholly wrong IMO as I think there's plenty still to do with us, but I can see it being portrayed that way in the media. Obviously hope he stays. Given the character he has showed this last 2 seasons I think he is virtually irreplaceable.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 Unfortunately I think he'll be leaving this summer to join Man Utd, and he'll take some replacing.

HighPeakFox Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 I think Kasper is likely to leave - would be sad to see him go.
lgfualol Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 I can't see any of the top teams in England buying him, so if he goes I imagine it will be abroad. Make him captain and try give him incentive to stay.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 I think he will, which will be a huge shame. Going to have to get a top keeper in his replacement if he does move.
weller54 Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 He might be thinking he's come as far with us as he can.. And that's a strong argument. Wouldn't begrudge him a dream move to a Huge club.... Butland would be a great replacement IF we could land him.
Stevosevic Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 For all those saying he is going - where exactly is he going? Think logically, which clubs above us will actually want him?

Liverpool? Utd? Everton (would be a kick in the balls but could see them trying) hope he stays. Will take big money for us and him to move surely.
