Well buddy it's a football forum and fans come in all sorts of shapes, sizes and on differing medications. People know Siggy doesn't want to come to us but it doesn't change the hope that we would like him! A few would also like Barkley as we are crying out for a creative midfielder. Again unlikely as he'll want a top four club but if nobody comes in he'll go for a cut price somewhere and at least would start here and we can offer parity on current wages etc but not of course what he is looking for. Barkley too has been called out by Koeman so many times quite frankly I think he just wants out asap and may accept a move somewhere surprising because he's that unhappy. We are not a bigger club than Everton in the typical sense but it is all changing slowly. Our financial clout with both Thai and Chinese backing is top five money - seriously, but we are not in a position to spend disproportionately because of current wage structures and FFP. Respectfully also remember Everton targets often also have some historical connection to Leicester because of the association with your Director of Football. Welcome to the forum. ? I do however think that many are not yet ready to look at the possibility of their being a slow changing new world order to the Premiership which allows clubs like Everton and Man City and Spurs to seriously compete for titles which maybe wasn't the case 15 years ago.
