StanSP Posted 29 July 2017 Posted 29 July 2017 David Mills (one of our scouts) was at Birmingham vs Swansea today. Probably wanted to see Sigurdsson but Clement said he wasn't going to play because of all the transfer speculation

sdb Posted 29 July 2017 Posted 29 July 2017 Maybe we should offer Mahrez as a swap and just piss both sulky gits off
ozvaldo Posted 29 July 2017 Posted 29 July 2017 Just ****ing pay for him and don't buy anyone in his position for the next 3 seasons.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 29 July 2017 Posted 29 July 2017 According to BBC we are still in talks with Swansea about Gylfi, as are Everton. So it doesn't look like we just walked away from it after having our bid turned down at least.

Imagine starting a game with Alrbrighron on one wing and siggy on the other. Slimani needs the ball played to his head and these boys would certainly deliver that. He'd be scoring for fun. Am I the only one thinking this? Brad Warner of the Base Soccer Agency is the most American thing I've ever read/heard.
bpfox Posted 30 July 2017 Posted 30 July 2017 are we waiting to get are top price for marhaz before going in big for gylif. because this will backfire. what do people think about nasri as are attacking midfielder, watched him this morning and he played really well. has great composure on the ball and a great pass i know he had dramas with vardy last year but thats football.

Don't think gylif wants to be our player
Wymsey Posted 30 July 2017 Posted 30 July 2017 Whatever happens, it will feel under-whelming if anyone gets Sigurdsson for £50m, now - it's the sort of fee that indicates that a player estimated at this value is a game-changer quite regularly. Sigurdsson can be great but, like King, can be anonymous sometimes during certain games. If Swansea manage to keep him, it'll feel to them like the 'magnet' of the team has stayed.

Available for 10 mill as well, no brainer. if we don't sign a creative midfielder we are in trouble
Grebfromgrebland Posted 30 July 2017 Posted 30 July 2017 More worrying is that Stowell said after the game yesterday that he was happy if we only created one or two chances in an entire game, that it was the Leicester way.
lifted*fox Posted 30 July 2017 Posted 30 July 2017 Stowell sounds like he's full of shit. Happy with one chance ffs.

We are in for an ugly season if this is the attitude from the coaching staff. I miss when the Leicester way was exciting counter attack football with pace. We created no end of chances.
BlueBahoo Posted 30 July 2017 Posted 30 July 2017 Eyup Lads, Everton fan here. Why have you got such a long thread on a soon to be Everton player for? Serious question - as every single credible link/source out there has him wanting the move to Everton (who wanted him last January) and has Everton as effectively the only credible club for him moving too. And why are some of you thinking that Barkley would actually remotely consider going to you or the red side of the city for? Saw someone saying that your a bigger club than us as well as another calling us 'plastics' - don't know where either of those ideas came from like, but most strange.
