Speculation of a daily Rag !!

I don't know if this has been posted as yet but a Daily Rag has put 2+2 together and made whatever they wanted it to be, for what could be a rebrand of the club a spring clean or just new pictures of the squad if you like the gutter press have put it down to Kasper Mahrez and Vardy leaving in the summer !!

whatever it is they've come out and made a story hopefully out of nothing ??

IMO Marhrez is likely to want away & Guardiola is a huge admirer of him. I don't think Vardy will want away, he took a long time thinking over a move to Arsenal last year & he decided that he was happy at City, had a very good long term contract, fitted in well with his team mates & had a great relationship with the fans. Hopefully Kasper will still be here next season, he's worth several points each season..........brilliant keeper.

considering he has admitted wanting to leave when we were champions, it isn't rocket science that he will be leaving this window. onlt issue being how much we can get from the deal

Agreed and funnily enough it's exactly this sort of speculation that could see us getting a fair amount.

If the richest club in the world want him we can pretty much name the price.

My speculative estimation would be anything between 38m - 45m with a dozen extravagant add ons.

One things for sure there won't be many players throughout history that have been bought for so little, made such an impact and sold for such a profit.

Can anyone name a player in the past that has been bought by a top two tier team and sold for a hundred times that initial fee?

Im not sure it will happen but can't be less than 35m  imo, which in it self is still a staggering profit percentage wise.

I would guess Chelsea for 42m which I think is acceptable (probably 35m plus the seven they underpaid for NG last summer !)
