Initially he showed good distribution, but he wasn't as vocal or commanding as Kasper, and I always felt nervous with him in goal. Seems like a nice guy, so best of luck to him at his next club. Sadly it again shows how poor our post title winning transfer window was.

Zieler came because he thought he could compete with Kasper for the no. 1 spot. (quote from him) Kapustka came because he thought all our best players would leave and therefore he would get game time. (quote from his previous manager) We were seen as a flash in the pan. Compared to last summer, there seems to be a lot less sentiment now along the lines 'oh they're going to lose all their best players now and crash and burn', Rather there seems to be a quiet acceptance we're in with a good chance of fighting for EL at least.

Risk free signing at that price, made sense as a signing at the time, hasn't worked out yet still actually made some money on it. Expect Jakupovic to be our next signing.

I know his game time was severely limited but he just didn't seem good enough at all. I think sometimes we tend to overrate players from other leagues when compared to Premier League players. I remember people on Reddit being adamant that he would be good enough to start over Kasper
