I agree about the IQ of the atendees(been to many darts events and the WC and PL are the worst).....but I think Littler is making a rod for his own back at the moment and comment's like that ain't going to help.

Don't even think the crowd were that hostile to him during the game, nothing like what Price had to put up with for years.

 

Think Littler actually rattled himself because the fans weren't booing/whistling when his opponent is on a double like they used to.

Dont mind Littlers arrogance at all. Hes been ridiculed about his age and looks since he played his first game at the worlds so I think its his response to all that.

Never got my head around calling sportsmen/women out for showing “arrogance”. Sport would be boring without characters/moments like that.

Littler knew he had been in a game hence maybe the post match tension  but obviously too strong in the end.

Haha yeah id agree, it wouldnt be my go to move as theres every chsnce hes put a target on his back now.

 

Its easy to forget hes still basically a kid. To show the steel to maintain his performance and not go into his shell is impressive.

 

Realistically hes still 4 or 5 years from developing that adult mindset. Till then I forgive him for the odd outburst, especially getting interviewed while the adrenaline is still pumping.

As much as I have a soft spot for Ratajski, I really would love to see Woodie win today.

 

Harryson v Clayton is incredibly interesting for many reasons.

 

If Harryson beats Clayton he will secure himself a tour card. Rob Owen currently in that 64th spot will be hoping his country man does him a favour.

 

If Clayton wins, he jumps into the top 4. Although with Van Veen and Rock right on his tail, I doubt he'll be thinking of top 4 too much.

 

if Hood and Rock replicate their form so far, this will be an absolute corker.

Fair play to Littler last night tbh, I’ve heard it worse, but glad he showed some balls to call out those specific idiots that whistle and boo. 
 

As much as this Sport has risen in recent years, sections of the fanbase have become worse.

I remember Humphries getting it bad, not sure if it was last year or the year before, but he did exactly the same after the game and went and celebrated to the fans on the right of the stage as well.

 

I really fancy a darts tourney next year, but it'll definitely be a euro tour rather than an English PDC event. I don't think i've got it in me to be surrounded by so many dick heads for 4 hours

Caught the final set of Littler / Cross after getting in from the match last night. Looked a corker.

 

Can forgive Littler for his reaction, he's only 18 and he's just giving it back to the melons in the crowd.

 

Remember a few years back in the Premier league in Scotland it was horrendous, needs cutting out early before we get back to those levels again.
