Here's an important question, are you THE ITK BigMicky? If my fading memory serves me correct can you enlighten us on any of these pending transfer?

I know about as much ITK info as Colin does about football. Absolutely zero.

Oh I must have you mixed up with someone else then! At least Cols not a sheep or part of the bandwagon bully gang! Don't think there's anyone on here, myself included, that hasn't made a di ck comment. Personally I think he makes some very good posts entwined with howlers like we all do :)

I think that was a twitter joke to wind up the Roma fans on there

Never mind that, did someone seriously just ask if anyone "knows anything about" Daniele De Rossi lollol

mahrez wants to stay in the prem and if arsenal come calling then he might just kick up a fuss to force something with deadline day approaching ?

he could say to shakey sell me or ill just sit on the bench until january , then our hands might be forced to either a) accept arsenals offer or b) get in another player at more expense and have an unhappy mahrez mooching around the club until january .

clubs always come out and say we dont want unhappy players who dont want to play for us here and at the minute the club think well hes ok and says hell give 100 per cent so we can fend off bids. The minute his mindset changes and gets advice from his crap agent then all that could change.

unless you know mahrez personally and know he wont do this then i apologize and agree my post has no logic

A risky strategy for Mahrez to pursue. It would surely alienate the top clubs that he would like to join.

Totally agree, I also think he realises this and the serious feck up him and his agent made.

As I said before (don't you get this?)..we are entitled to charge whatever we want for him. That don't mean we are going to get it!

It boils down to the simple question, for me. One which so many just swerve (it gets tiresome having to be one of the only ones on here to ask the important questions). Do you want a player at your club who has publically stated he doesn't want to be here (and which is reflected in some of his performances) or do you sell him for what appears to be the going rate, thank him for his time at the club and spend the transfer kitty wisely?

He doesn't want to be here, ladies and gents. He's said so.

As it appears there are no contractual pitfalls, like a release clause, I firmly believe the club holds all the aces pal. We, imo, are sending out a very strong and correct message pay up or do one! Riyad cannot afford to stagnate,so if he remains he will have to perform to attract the big move suitors he craves! In a game of poker I feel we're holding the Royal Flush.

I agree with most of that BTS but wonder how much is there in the pot to win ....    If his idea of performing is to hog the ball, try to dribble round everyone in sight and look for the wow goal ...    Then do we want that ?     I'm not sure of the answer ... CS is probably the only one who can find an answer to that conundrum.

Well noone has gone all in that's for sure! :) Last season and early signs of this are that he is probably 40 % of his glorious 15/16 self. If he wants the move that he thinks he deserves then, it's simple, show he's not a 1 season wonder or them suitors won't get involved in the pot.

Not sure if we will ever see the Mahrez of two seasons ago ....  Perhaps other teams can see that too.     For me he has issues, is probably very unsettled and needs a time out to get it all sorted ...   Now is the time to try other options and see how we can manage without him.   If someone is brave enough to offer £50m or thereabouts ...    Let him go.

Sadly that may be the case pal, it may transpire Shakey will have a very big call to make! Will he bench him if his performance continues to be inefficient? Only time will tell. I do back the owners hard ball tactic though.

Im very confident of the owners stance and HOPE that Shakey does the right thing too ....    That's another matter and more of a concern to me than the Mahrez situation.

I think we need to have faith in Shakey, when Kelechi makes his presence fully felt, which I think he will, this may hopefully free up more space for Riyad to weave his magic.

Don't get me wrong appointing Shakey was a bold stroke and I'm 100% behind him ...   as long as he bins the 'Pearson guide to substitutions' book he has at the moment ...    :)

Idk I think we could've done better in terms of competence. But then again at least we know Shakey wants the best for the club.

For me Red I hoping that potentially he will grow into the role by adding to his already proven coaching and motivational skills with some strong and bold decision making ...    If he cracks that and works out how to blend it all together ....    A future England manger !!!         But we all know what can happen to potential !!    :)

Good post, apart from the howlers part. I don't make howlers, I make tactical errors...

Prob staying.

DD going.

who would have predicted this at start of transfer window?

I can stomach this more than I could have Mahrez leaving. DD has been every bit as hot/cold as Mahrez since the title.
