Mahrez still gave his Home in Paris so always needs euros

but may be roma is always pursuing him as CS didn't kill the rumors about Leicester rejecting the last bid

some reports in Spain are telling that Atketico Madrid will bid 40-45 m to mahrez and leaving at Leicester till January when the transfer ban will be lifted

I didn't realise how wealthy atleti's Chinese part owners are. Absolute mega money

Ha!

Definition of Delusion (aka Bollocks)

West Ham are in that part of the transfer window where they simply need to add talent.

The major gaps in the side have been plugged, and the squad seems stable in terms of numbers. There are even a decent number of youth players in the west Ham squad. As such, an interesting and not all that crazy move would be for want-a-way Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez.

Whilst that may seem crazy to some, it’s nowhere near as crazy as it was last year. Add that to Mahrez’s poor attitude at the club over the past season and there should be intrigue. Could the Algerian make his way to East London?

Out-foxing the market

Mahrez was one of the stars of Leicester City’s historical title triumph. In doing so he made himself an incredibly desirable player. That said he did the right thing by staying at Leicester and not jumping ship immediately after they won the title.

Now two years on and Leicester have seemingly regressed to the level that everyone felt that they should have been at while Mahrez remains a quality player he is now being held down by the weight of his lesser teammates.

Once upon a time their were rumors of a move to Barcelona or PSG. Neither of those ever seemed likely but a move within the Premier League to a larger and less likely to be relegated club like West Ham could work perfectly. Mahrez should be available for a fee near 30 million pounds. Adding him to the already bulked up attacking talents of the squad makes the Hammers a far more dangerous proposition than the team that took the pitch at the London Stadium.

My god.

Unrivalled levels of delusion.

Especially the less likely to be relegated bit, was he not watching the game against Man U? lol

I think it's safe to say the last thing Riyad needed that day was an unwanted picture moment with a local fan later plastered across the abomination that is Twitter.

Feel for the guy.

(Don't look at his face, don't look at his face for god's sake!)

Well, if things remain like this, i.e he keeps playing and doesn't try and pull a Payet and no one gets close to meeting our valuation, looking like he's here till January to me......although deadline day is always interesting in cases like this.

I think his reps will be told that he won't be sold that late in the window under any circumstances

Really? Heavily doubt that.

In fact this sudden return to flying has an air of shop window about it to me, seems like it's dawned on him we if he wants a club to meet our valuation of him he is going to need to reproduce the form that  lead to us making that valuation in the first instance.

Exactly. Probably trying to impress potential suitors or the usual suspects with more fine displays in the next ten days or so.

I still doubt anyone will come close to offering what we want, but you never know, just hope we have a potential replacement lined up if the worse does happen.

On a side note, does anyone think he may change his mind if we start the season well?

Rudders and the Recruitmemt Team will be clueless in terms of trying to replace anyone. Think this, and then if we do sell any of our 'stars', you will be prepared for he worse.

I know, it's his facebook one. Hence the facebook screenshot

Haha - sorry - true enough!  We can call that 'interesting'. No evidence of a similar photo entry going back.

Danny Murphy completely missing the point on MOTD.

The reason he's not 'injured', Danny, is because he needs to play himself into the market. Which is exactly the situation I've been predicting.

Nice of him to show the real Mahrez today, that's certainly not the one we've been seeing over the last year, and it's not the one we saw last week either.

It's interesting how they only notice and highlight his good performances and base their disrespectful 'opinion' that he's 'too good for Leicester' on those, instead of picking out the many lowlights and using them to question his commitment.

Obviously, Leicester, and their more consistent players who have obviously been carried by Mahrez's 6 goals and 4 assists over the last year, are too worthless a club for that sort of objective analysis.

Very true. Thought Danny made himself look like a d*ck tonight

How was Mahrez at the end of the game today? That Facebook post made me think *he* thinks that is his last game in a Leicester shirt at the KP. Given the next home game is after the window closes, it could well be the case.

Played well today. I'm fairly sure a top 6 club will come snapping for him, unfortunately. I'd far sooner seem him off to Roma for a bit less (obviously with a sell in clause, right?!) then have to witness him putting a brace past us in December... please no.
