Roma fans are cretins

The algerians got upset again when a few people said Mahrez wasn't good enough for Barca

Monchi has set a deadline of today on Romas final bid

Oh and no one else wants him (but whisper that too otherwise you'll upset the fan club)

You don't realize that if Mahrez were to leave. Those 3 players marking him will turn on Vardy instead or Albrighton. Mahrez's presence on the pitch is greatly underestimated, even if he isn't having the best game

Same as John Barnes

Sky Italy reporter says that's it for Roma (again!)

Not been keeping up to date with this thread in the last few pages so apologies if this is old news, i'm don't think it is though.

All i've seen is Roma ending their interest, again, i'm sure they've said that before and it was their final bid, e.t.c

Barcelona 'reject chance to sign Riyad Mahrez'.

Barcelona have reportedly turned down the chance to sign Leicester City attacker Riyad Mahrez.

The Spanish giants are yet to reinvest the £200m that they received when Neymar completed a world-record move to Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month.

It had been claimed that Mahrez was offered to Barcelona as a cheaper option than Borussia Dortmund's Ousmane Dembele or Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho, but

according to TransferMarketWeb, the Catalan outfit have rejected the opportunity.

Roma remain in the hunt for the Algerian international, but the Italian club's sporting director Monchi has recently revealed that the Serie A outfit will not be increasing their £32m offer, which has thus far been rejected by Leicester.

The 26-year-old scored 10 times in all competitions for Leicester last season, with four of those coming in nine Champions League matches as the Foxes reached the quarter-finals of the competition.

Mahrez played the full 90 minutes as Leicester lost 4-3 to Arsenal in the Premier League on Friday night.

Also i'd like to say not sure how reliable 'sports mole'.

Christ knows what most posters on this forum would have made of great Leicester players like Weller, Worthington, Glover, McAllister, Collymore etc.

Every single one of them could have an off day. Every single one of them could look disinterested.

And love them as I do, not one was as gifted as the wonderful Mahrez. Simply the most astonishingly talented player I've seen in 50+ years.

Mahrez to...stay!??

Whilst I agree he is very talented the bloke simply does not want to be here any more. We won't see his top performances again I don't think.

It doesn't mean we sell to highest bidder at any price.

It's up to Mahrez now, from POTY just over a year a go and 7th in the Balon d'Or the football world has spoken. No club of any real stature want him and Roma are trying to buy him for pocket change.

He either ups his game to get his move or just fades away to be known as the ultimate one season wonder. Mahrez has more to lose than Leicester City.

Sadly i think it will be the latter. Fair play to the owners for sticking to their guns but if his performances continue in the same way as Fridays then dropping him will be the next step which is then a slippery slope for Mahrez.
