We've rejected a bid of £32 million because it isn't even close to what we want for Riyad.

We wouldn't have been able to sell our entire squad for that about 7 years ago!!  Say what you want about the lad but that is just bonkers in the grand scheme of things!

If 38 million is a true bid then I can see us accepting that.

shame Sigurdsson has agreed a deal with Everton

Great!.. Roma out of the equation now,  no one left who's interested...

So we're left with 'The incredible Sulk '...

What a ridiculous situation. Only LCFC....

I think Percy's article may be based on the news from earlier today that Roma had abandoned the chase. For them to come back with £35m this evening must mean they have been tipped off by mahrez' s people that this is a bid worth making. This may be one last attempt at a figure that they can't go beyond in the hope that we feel a sale is best for all parties and that sum is acceptable for a non PL club.

But it's not much higher than their previous bid and a full £15 million less than the reported amount needed for us to consider selling us. It's surely pointless.

if we really believe that it's the most they can pay and we have decided it's best he leaves then it may not be pointless. Kante and Walsh both requested to the owners that they be allowed to leave to the club of their choice and were granted that wish. I cannot believe that Roma would make this new offer without encouragement from somewhere that it is worth it, having laready indicated today that the pursuit was over.

I hope the reports that Leicester will ignore all communication with Roma are true. What kind of lack of professionalism is this?

The big clubs aren't coming in for him due to his poor form for most of last season. He has only had one standout season so far in terms of attracting the big clubs.

He needs to stay with us now, start every week, get his 100k and knuckle down and play his way back into a big move in January or next Summer.

If he sulks or his poor form continues this season, then he will be left with very few options again.

Staying with us now and performing well week in week out, will do him and us a world of good

Only in foreign press, John Percy who is 99% spot on about all things Leicester has repeatedly said it's £50 million or nothing using Sigurdsson as the benchmark. We won't be forced like we were with Kante.

I'm starting to believe Mahrez will stay this season purely on the fact that if a club like Roma cannot afford him, few clubs (that would have an interest) can.

Arsenal might come with a late swoop and maybe Pep thinks he needs another forward after Navas' departure, but you'd have imagined they would have made a move by now...
