What a result tonight.

16-26 down at half time. George Ford looking sublime.

We win the second half 28-8, basically guarantees a home semi final given we have Newcastle at home to play.

Considering the momentum and control sale had after around 50/55 mins, that was an incredible last half hour.

Considering the pasting we took at home to Bristol, we’ve put ourselves in a great position.

Finally watched the Leinster v Northampton highlights, what a win for Saints. Especially after all the pisstaking the Premiership gets from Irish fans.

Well that was left field ExTiger Geoff Parling signs a long term contract to become Tigers coach.

Not sure about this given his lack of experience and the fact he’s with the Oz team until after the lions tour so add in some leave and moving etc he’s looking at end Aug at the earliest to be feet under table & given we need to also find a defence coach as Parling won’t come with a team on top of recruiting at least 2 # 10s, a backup #9 etc and build a style ready for a September start.

This kinda stinks of the board will run how things go, we’ll decide who the 10 is and you work with it.

Apart from him being 1 of my favourite players back in the day along with Croft when they played together it’s not giving me a fluffy feeling about the future.

5 new signings announced, 1st 3 should be pushing for starts happy with Blamire as replacement hooker as he showed a lot of promise when he broke through maybe struggled due to Newcastles struggles. We have needed starting props for awhile & Haffar is a great addition to Smith & Heyes along with the aging Cole if he re-signs a new contract & doesn't retire himself mind.
Moro is highly thought of over in Argentina & we beat Gloucester to his signature, down as a flanker but also plays as an 8 & has a turn of pace on him, i'm hoping he's going to be a Ben Earl type player for us.
They have also said that further signings will be announced in the coming weeks.

Competed at bath for a good hour before we succumbed to their strength

a couple of questionable calls by us when we could have made the last 20 mins closer

bath look certainties to be at twickenham for the final so we need to avoid them before then!

Newcastle at home last game so should be OK for that hopefully.

Had a feeling he would & good luck to the future.

The signing of Haffar is a good but we have been crying out for world class props for sometime and with Coley now going it’s needed even more so.

The English game has lost some huge characters this year. Cole, Ben Youngs, Marler, Danny Care, Mike Brown, Anthony Watson, Alex Goode all retiring this year. A very big changing of the guard

Huge changes at Tigers, Parling will probably revert to what he knows from his time at the club but the club will be unrecognisable to us fans let alone Geoff with those legends and big names  leaving this season.

Yes! Bath v Bristol in the other

Went today, was a class atmosphere despite being a sloppy game overall. The atmosphere outside on the plaza with a party bus was fantastic. People still drinking 2/3 hours after the game. Makes you realise how badly wrong LCFC have it.

Atmosphere in and around the ground pre match was great. Seeing so many people get there 1 or 2 hours before and happily getting food/drink, just continues to shock me that we don't copy the same style.

Swear pricing plays a huge factor. Sell cheaper beers or more deals fans will come otherwise fans will stay at the pub until nearer kick off.

I get the Tigers pre / post match stuff is better but it would be the death knell for many of a pub if LCFC did. Happy to expect that a lot fo Tigers fans go straight from station to ground

This is it! We don’t need a pre-match experience at LCFC. I met a mate in soar point(their choice) before the Newcastle game last weekend and up to 230pm before leaving for the game, the place was bout 30% full. It’s good for Tigers if they can rinse the Market Harbs lot anyway because they need the money.
