FootballRivals Posted 5 October 2017 Posted 5 October 2017 Hi all I'm currently in the process of collecting data for a book about footballing rivalries. It would be greatly appreciated if you were able to complete the survey (which is only 2 questions long!) surveynuts.com/surveys/take?id=145813&c=3449935597LVPD Many thanks in advance

FLAN Posted 5 October 2017 Posted 5 October 2017 Just now, AKCJ said: Literally everyone will answer as follows; 1) Leicester City 2) Nottingham Forest Derby County Coventry City Close... i put Barca, RM and Oadby Town
foxy boxing Posted 5 October 2017 Posted 5 October 2017 1) Leicester City 2) Real Madrid Bayern Munich Juventus If Only
SpacedX Posted 5 October 2017 Posted 5 October 2017 Pompey/Saints, Swansea/Cardiff, Villa/Blues and ManU/Leeds have always been particularly nasty encounters.
Wymsey Posted 5 October 2017 Posted 5 October 2017 Put Coventry as top rivalry for us. Even though the club hasn't played them in years, each match against them seemed to contain fan fighting etc either before or after the game (or even both).

TiffToff88 Posted 5 October 2017 Posted 5 October 2017 Amazingly, it seems a lot of our fans consider our biggest rival not to be a team, but an individual by the name of Andy King...
PintsandPyro Posted 5 October 2017 Posted 5 October 2017 1. Celtic (Personal reasons) 2. Forest 3. Coventry
Fox92 Posted 5 October 2017 Posted 5 October 2017 Games against Derby always seem more intense than Forest. That said, Forest away in '07 when the game was abandoned was nasty scenes. I remember trying to get out and away from the ground wasn't nice. But Coventry is a big one too. They can be nasty buggers, especially Highfield Road when they were more City based.
hackneyfox Posted 5 October 2017 Posted 5 October 2017 1. Coventry 2. Coventry 3. Coventry I'm from Rugby originally.

Every street corner i turned people were fighting.

SemperEadem Posted 5 October 2017 Posted 5 October 2017 Forest Cov Derby Not a fan of Villa or Stoke either.

Guest BlueBrett Posted 5 October 2017 Posted 5 October 2017 Should've used drop downs. Unless of course you actually wanted the majority of the responses to be made up teams with 'hilarious' names

Not now the atmosphere has died due to their grounds being half full of day-trippers and highest bidders expecting to be entertained. Give me Wednesday/Sheff United or Villa/Brum over that anyday.

It it will always be the biggest because the history of the Cities.
