Maguire did well. Played pretty much like he does for us. lots of good things and a loose pass or two.

Could easily have come away with 2 goals on another day.

Start looking for your next job Southgate. To many Spurs players in your squad who can only perform at club level.

We are so going to get ripped by better teams in the World Cup as we always do.

Wright and Giggs hit nail on the head so boring  no fight don't have a clue of how to move forward Southgate fcuking clueless.

At club level they have a far better manager.

These players play with high tempo Premier League club yet England are very slow. The tempo, style of play etc is down to Southgate not the players.

Tbh I'm not sure a lot of these players actually give a sh1t about playing for their country anymore ...

Probably wrong but it just seems different now ...       The prem is everything.

Also agree.

The amount of players that "love to play for Country" but don't do anything is incredible.

And that's why we'll get knocked out as usual ...

I'm sorry, I didn't watch the game so can't have a proper opinion I guess, but from the sounds of it everything I expected happened and one of a few reasons why i'm done with England until something changes (I might watch the World Cup games but i'll watch alot of games during the world cup - I certainly won't be finishing work early for the shite should England have any early KO's like i've done in the past), that starts within the FA, but i'm amazing people are still shocked and moan after every game!

I said it after the last set of international games and it seems even more so after these games - even the staunch people on here who won't have a bad word against England on here are starting to moan, even the die hards are getting turned off and turning their back on Englands, even the people who actually follow England are taking the piss out of them chanting stuff like 'We've had a shot', 'It's just like watching Brazil', leaving early (Like HT early) to go back to the pub (According to Henry Winter).

It's a joke, the more people boycott the viewing figures, stop buying tickets, something might ring home within the FA. Somethings gotta give.

Always remember a classic Southgate quote from a few years back :

"you shouldnt want to score every time you attack"

No wonder England are sh!t

Did a great job and looked very composed.

It was the equivalent of him playing for us against the likes of Rochdale!....

I painted my window frames today so opted to watch them drying as it more exciting than watching England!!...

The tempo and style of play has been like it for years.

I know. All different players too so it's not just these Spurs players that you mentioned.

I'm sure Ali was looking across at about 60 min saying can I come off now pls?

Maguire did what he does missed two open goals(one would have counted)slipped a couple of times, passed sideways a lot as did they all and ran forwards a few yards at a leisurely pace..No worse than the rest .Lingard looks interested though another one who we had on loan I think.

Southgate out.  Shakespeare in.  Hoof ball will work a treat at international level.  The Germans won't know what's hit 'em.

We'll get a new manager too without upsetting Craig too much.  Win win.

We'll end up with Southgate though!
