Why did we sack Craig Shakespeare...?

We parked the bus against Huddersfield and Bournemouth. He literally said post match he would have taken a point at half time at Hudderdield  (it was 0-0 at HT). You can't get anymore negative than that. We stunk up the place v WBA.

Taking the quote totally out of context there. He said we started so badly and the game was so one sided he'd have taken a point at half time, because it looked like the game was only going one way.

Possibly joining Allardyce at Everton if big Sam takes the job!?...

As much as I'd like to see Shakey back in the game, I hope this doesn't happen....I so much want to see Everton relegated and Big Sam take them down.

We started so badly because he set up to park the bus in the first place. Koke was right he was so negative and needed replacing.

we sacked him coz we made an error when we gave him the job.  A simple personality test would have show his cautious side and his desired to be liked by the players.

Because he ate all the pies, and the players were going hungry, hence the poor performances on the pitch.

They needed to be fed and fed some more..

F.E.A.R.  It had taken hold of him. He had to win  at the back end of last season. New season and the FEAR took hold. Not enough experience to find his way past it. Also too close to the players. Had to go.

I called this at the end of last season and was branded a twat for saying so.

Once we were safe the handbrake went on; he thought the job was his and a bunch of draws would see to that.

He was playing to get the gig, with a safety first approach at that stage.

In doing so he shot himself in the foot as this team cannot play like that as he should have known.

Thereafter I simply think he couldn’t get out of that mindset.

His sacking was totally justified, and blowing my own trumpet ? once again I, as did others, called that correctly; he should never have been given it full time. The warning signs were there for all who were interested to see.

Will our self aggrandizing hero perhaps now point out how often he's been wrong, in the name of balance?

For gods sake, I’ve never been self aggrandising before; let me enjoy it.

To answer your call, I didn’t think much of the Puel appointment and said so quite forcefully.

Ive a feeling that may turn out to have been a mistake on my part.

That aside never wrong before ?

Did anyone notice Crooks & Keown on Final Score saying that time is up for Pullis?

West Brom aren't even in the bottom three.  We were when the cub sacked Shakespeare but it seems that the pitchforks only come out for us.

Double fcking standards all the time.

Totally agree. We are expected to accept sub standard football and get back in our place.

If Shakespeare was in charge at today's game, the team would've lost perhaps by more.

Certain players lacked confidence in playing under him, and am surprised that he didn't do better during his short management spell here (considering he was assistant to Ranieri and Pearson, who had different methods, but ones that worked a majority of the time).
