Everton (H) Pre Match

No need to fear Rooney really, pace has long-gone.

They hardly pose any threat going forward, as a whole.

Will be interesting to see if Siguardsson can perform well against a side that was priced out for him for £45m(!)..

I feel kind of bad for Puel because this game is massive right off the bat. The jury is out on him as a manager and no one knows quite what to make of him. A good perfomance and result and we'll all get behind him. A bad performance and result and things will get ugly and quickly. That's just the way the modern game is. Everton will likely be playing for their footballing careers too and though they lost tonight it sounds like they were a lot better.

I expect we will play the same team and formation as we did against Swansea as it will be "audition time" for the squad to show what they've got. In that respect we should have an edge.

Honestly I have no idea what to expect but am hoping it will be a Ranieri throwback where we come out of the blocks and put the opposition to the sword, with us all feeling positive afterwards. I think if we start aggressively the crowd will get behind Puel and the team will feed off it. If we sit back, it might go the other way.

At the end of the day we all want the club to do well! I fondly remember the title winning season where after a few games you coud just feel the positivity among the fans and on the forum. It would be nice to return to that mood!

HR dept must have been busy hopefully they gave due consideration to all candidates regardless of age and ethnicity.

Personally hope he stays well clear of this next game other than to observe and meet the staff.

Worried about this . Mirallas always plays well against us and they seem more united under the caretaker manager . Hope I'm wrong and we rinse the wannabe tw@ts

You just watch the lads work their bollux off to impress the new gaffer.

We'll suddenly rediscover our title winning form and piss it 4-0

Hope you are right Muzz. :D

I think we'll pinch this 2-1.

Can see us taking the lead and generally looking quite chipper but they'll equalise and it'll look like a frustrating start for Puel but Gray will come on and win it and start a beautiful partnership with our French head honcho.

Not expecting any changes from the Swansea game. Hope they’ll be going all out to impress the new gaffer. So for that reason I’m going for a win, Mahrez Vardy, 2 nil.

Worryingly that is what Lawrenson is predicting

Williams has looked very dodgy recently, and we know he hates Riyad. Get him and Vardy running at him and we've a chance!

Things can going bad only on FT, which bears little meaning. No one can judge a manager, or a player for that matter, after one game. Anyone who does it, is a short-sighted fool, let alone those who already dismissed him. He's here for the rest of the season, unless he gets something like 7 defeats in a row.

Other than shots from the edge of the area not being closed down.

Is Andy King playing then?

Whatever.

We're vulnerable to it, Everton will be aware of it and Rooney can still be lethal from 25 yards.

You can never rule out Rooney getting 1 or 2 however woeful they are right now.

When did he last score 2 in a game?

We're playing at home against a shit team with a weak attack and a crap defence. If we don't win we should sack the manager.

I can't see Williams even lasting the game for them, red card after we score our third.

Leicester 5 - Everton 1

I'm hoping that Chilwell replaces Fuchs and Gray plays ahead of him on the wing - they have such a good partnership/understanding being built. I'd like to go 3 at the back and drop Simpson but I don't see that happening. If they do then Albrighton can play as RWB and both Mahrez and Gray can torment the Everton defence. If they don't I guess I'd drop Albrighton but that'd make me sad because he really puts a shift in. Not having albrighton or Okazaki in will make us look a man light at times.

It will be very interesting to see who Puel plays up front. I'm sure it'll be Vardy and someone, but the someone will be a teaser.

I truly believe that Vardy is our best striker but I'm not sure he is part of our best strike partnership. I feel that could be slim and Iheanacho. I just think that Kelechi has the footballing brains and talent to form a deadly partnership with a player like Islam, possibly he can do the same with Vardy but i'm not so sure.

Was speaking to one of my customers this morning who is an avid chelsea fan, STH and goes to a lot of their away games and she says that everton played really well the other night.

I think we'll beat them though!

Imagine this talentless lump hating Riyad ,  one of the most naturally gifted players gracing the Prem .

Jesus Christ where did you get that from? He nurtured and helped Hazard at Lille to become the great player he is now and even got the best out of Ben Arfa.

Shocking comment.

Misunderstood.
