I think he’s way overrated. The league has figured him out and he has become less effective as a result, we need to start phasing him out before it’s too late.

Every attacking player we’ve bought in the last couple yrs has flopped simply because the team is designed to work for Vardy.  I don’t see us doing anything except avoiding relegation until we change the system or get players that complement the young players.

How is he overrated? He won us the PL! he's scored 7 goals so far this season.....

We’ve just moved up to 9th! And he’s one of the greatest players we’ve ever had. He’s also scored one of our goals of the season tonight and ran himself into the ground yet again. Not only that, but he’s a throwback. Someone who the fans can relate to.

I hope his phasing out stage lasts for a few more years.

When our premier league winning squad eventually dismantles I think we'll find that Vardy will be the one who is the hardest to replace.

Like a previous poster has said the runs he makes along with his spacial awareness & pace make him pretty much irreplaceable as there really is no one else like him around.

He is the type of player who every fan of almost every English club would love in their team. Full of passion which is something a lot of footballers lack in this day and age.

First £1 million player signed from non-league
Championship winner
England International
Premier League record breaker
Premier League winner

Turned down Arsenal to stay with us
One of a kind, we'll never see another one like him
Should get a statue as soon as he finishes playing for us

Add: Scored in the Quarter Finals of the Champions League.

In all my 25 years supporting Leicester City we have had no better strike than Jamie Vardy. Heskey, Claridge and Marshall are incomparable.

Every fibre of his style and attitude permeates throughout the club and is why we won the league.

He did have a shit first year here though.

Just sayin'

Loved it when he changed direction after scoring to run and celebrate right in front of the Spurs fans. Arrogant and gloating, but most of all just lovely.

I think it summed up what every Leicester fan was thinking at that moment.

He does that against every team's away fans when he scores that end. The fact it was Spurs made it extra sweet though

Pls don’t get me wrong. I think Vardy is a legend but my comments  were intended to be about the future, paticulay the next 2yrs.

We attempted a reload after winning the PL but the only players that worked out are Ndidi,Maguire and Iborra. No new attacking player has added much  in 2yrs. Even Iheanacho who once has the highest minute per goal ratio in Europe is looking like a league 2 striker.  New need a new direction.

I understand what usafox is saying tbh. There are other ways to play football than lofting the ball over the top all the time. We've seen at times over the past year how ugly that can get when we solely rely on it. We seem to be mixing it up under Puel which is great as its a bit easier on the eye to watch and it goes without saying it's good if teams aren't 100% sure how we're going to come at them like they have been the past 2 years. If Vardy was to get injured it would be interesting to see how effective we are trying to play for Slimani's strengths for example. Of course he is a legend and some of what he said is daft but people who think we couldn't survive without him are just as daft. I dare say Slimani would flourish in a West Ham side/ Iheanacho though... any player of a decent standard would score goals like he did in a Man City side who create chances for fun. I'm not seeing how he fits in here at all really unless we drastically change the way we play.

You're either a troll or a twit (putting it nicely).

Vardy is definitely a better player for Leicester City than Gary Lineker.

The timing of is goal last night was priceless as well. Those classless nerks singing some rubbish off of a carp TV show made themselves look proper mugs.
