He's got to be on the plane regardless. Be criminal if he didn't make it.

Personally I'd start him up front with Kane, but I know it's going to be Alli behind Kane - with 2 CM's behind Alli.

Thought Vardy was class yesterday. Their defence couldn't cope with him at all.

if i'm being honest with the amount of chances and shots Kane creates for himself I think we'll be fine with 1 upfront. Hopefully Vardy can come off the bench and make an impact though. A real shame for Vardy to be playing when Kane is in such good form as prior to Kane we were over reliant on a crooked Rooney.

Vardy has been fantastic since Puel took over. His role is different and harder to perform now as he has to drag the opposition defence around to make space for the players behind him. He’s also got to drift more often and link the play.

Honestly in terms of his all round play I don’t think he’s been any better. He has been less clinical of late (though still effective) but if you watch his contribution over the full 90 the guy is so underrated. In fact in recent games Puel has pulled him off at 80-85 minutes and Vardy looks knackered when he does so. It’s all that additional team work he’s putting in.

Lots of arguments in another thread which I hope will now will appear here.

Yes he's now a mature professional which obviously has put other clubs off pitching what we value as his worth to us. But he is arguably the best finisher in the League. I also believe that we need to keep his pace and have seen that 90mins full of sprints is taking its toll.

CP seems to be addressing this in recent games.

Thought this was interesting to see Vardy's contribution to goals in the league compared to other top strikers.  Stats are from 2014-15 season til present.  Was pleasantly surprised to see him up there.  Makes you realise just how good he is for us.

Satisfied with the green but I think he should do better in the red and blue department...

I'm not getting what each colour denotes, can you explain, please?

Uhhhh what do those colors mean? Why is there no label on the X axis? lol

Oh Vardy has 20 greens somethings, which is better than Kane but he has significantly fewer red somethings.

I'm surprised Kane has any assists, to be honest.  The greediest man on the planet!

That's pure 9s for you. As long as he scores, nothing wrong with that.

Its 1 assist but they multiplied it by 10 because Spurs had more possesion that day.

Getting hugely concerned how isolated Vardy has become in recent weeks.

What's the answer?

What's the answer?

Okazaki has to come back in when fit.

Anyone think it's like watching him when he plays for England.

Out of position and everywhere except where he is supposed to be.

Frustrating to watch, I can only imagine it’s even more frustrating for him.

He’s just so easy to mark when he plays on his own. Even though nacho did very little when he came on he still drew the defender’s attention. He needs to be played with a proper striker from now on - playing gray and mahrez ‘in behind’ doesn’t do it as they just drop off.

Didn’t get anything to work with today, starting to miss a bigger presence in the box now Ulloa & Slimani have gone, miss the hussle & bustle of Okazaki. Too many high balls from the flanks and nothing from the very poor Silva & James. Teams are just waltzing through us and Vardy has to watch it week in week out wondering when he is going to receive one of his favourite ‘killer passes’
