people don't know how good vardy and mahrez are! how many teams outside the top 6 can say that the have two players that can win them big games.

let's enjoy their quality while they still here.

I actually think Vardy is under rated.

He's an exceptional crosser of a ball (something I've never heard mentioned), he is tenacious in the tackle, he often sets the rhythm of our play, his first touch is now excellent, he has great awareness, often brings others into play (when they can keep up with him) and is an instinctive finisher (better than when he has to think / one on one often).

His goal on Tuesday was absolutely sublime and he now has a portfolio of goals which are absolutely stunning i.e. the goal vs Liverpool Premiership winning season, the back heel goal for England vs Germany, the chip over the keeper goal vs Palace Premier League winning season, the goal last year vs Sunderland at home.

The lad is an absolute Leicester Legend. Enjoy watching him as he won't be around forever and our next number 9 has a huge amount to live up to.

I still think to this day that chip v palace was a shot

His face after the goal against Spurs makes me love him even more. Proper wind up merchant. You get the feeling there’s certain clubs he enjoys scoring against more than others

I always say this to my nephew. I said we have the best keeper (until his recent shit form), one of the best centre backs (Maguire), the best winger and the best striker outside of the top 6. Nobody outside the top 6 has anyone near as good as vardy and mahrez on their day.

Definitely meant it. He said in a post match interview that he'd seen someone else do something similar the week before and thought he'd try it. Sorry can't remember who he said the other player was.

It seems that Vardy appears more relaxed in his play, and is acting less aggressive when things don't go his way (that had been the case at times in the past).

He should be settled, with Iheanacho and Slimani seemingly overlooked by Puel at the moment, but he knows that age will eventually will creep up with him and thus his pace will gradually decline.

But, of course, he'll still be valuable; even if his drop in speed is noticeable, as his techniwue is often excellent and is good in his decision-making.

Scoring at the Hawthorns and purposely winding up their fans every season is excellent. Loved his bow in front of the West Ham fans last season too. Legend.

His celebration against West Brom still brings a smile to my face.

Their whole end standing up to abuse him and then that one fan in that grey hoodie abusing him whilst he just stood there smirking at him. :crylaugh:

That for me is my favourite vardy goal.

The one two with Drinkwater, the pace, the finish and then the celebration.

Agree with puel, vardy is showing he’s not a one trick pony, and has some technical ability, and has a footballing brain, not just a chaser and finisher.

I think puel coming in, and integrating football into our play, will leave quite a few behind, and I’m sorry but some fans favourites, who have limited abilities, will be fazed out, I thought vardy would be one, but he’s doing well.

Puel coming in, has probably given vardy World Cup hopes a boost, as proof to the England set up, he can mix his game up.

So many incredible Vardy moments, just love him.

My mind springs to when he wound up Barnsley fans for no reason and also when he shushed the Trent End and ran over to them after scoring an open goal

I liked the one the year after when he went straight for that corner again and stopped in the same place lol

The stat that he has 20 goals in 39 games against the top 6 still amazes me. Kane has 15 in 29, Aguerro has 20 in 29. Lukaku has a pathetic 5 in 39. Vardy is truly a big game player.

I tend to agree, although he did smash the post when he missed his chance towards the end of the game on Tuesday.

6:00 lol

10 seconds in he says "We've never lost here". That was his first mistake.

Singing about Vardy's wife around 5:50 was their second.

A very muted response to their goal on 16:25 - they know they are shit.

Barely responds to Rose's fall at 19:20 - they knew deep down it wasn't a penalty.

As much as I love JV that doesn't bear scrutiny.

Vardy   73 goals in 207 games

Lineker 107 goals in 216 games, played for Barcelona, World Cup golden boot winner, 48 England goals, Leicester lad.

Linekar was before my time and his record is amazing, but the fact that we would be unable to talk of "Leicester City, Premier League Winners"  without JV means that Vardy > Linekar for me.

That's a good point, but it also follows that Lineker scored all his goals in a much weaker team.

Both legends and I tend to agree when you put it like that, JV is a lightly bigger legend for me due to the title heroics.

Lineker was the better player though.
