I speak to his Mum sometimes at away games. She always says he wants to play football so has considered leaving. There's often Championship clubs & the Watfords and Burnleys of the world interested in him.

She always says how much he loves it here though. It's got to be a difficult decision. He'll take a pay cut to go somewhere else, but he'll get to finish his career playing week in week out. Whatever he does he'll always, always be a complete and utter legend to me. I always got him on the back of my shirt growing up and he's still one of my favourite players now.

I suppose that decision gets easier when he knows at least three are ahead of him in Iborra, Ndidi and Silva and possibly James if fit and Mendy when back off loan and you would think Puel would try to introduce Choudhury gradually rather than play King. Once he feels no longer relevant or useful then the decision is an easy one.

I'll support him either way. He's not quite the level we aspire to but it's important to have players at a club that are happy enough to supplement the squad and capable to do a job when required and that's Andy King.

I would be very sad to see him go, but totally understand if it’s week in week out playing he desires .... but he really fits the next Birch role for me .... a total ambassador for the Club

Considering this is the 1st game king has played under Puel, i think this performance will do a world of good for him. Also shows Puel that king can do a good job for the team and hopefully now he'll get more game time.

He is a legend.

I can imagine he wants to play more...who wouldnt?

The idea that players are only interested in the $ is absurd...if you are making $50k a week or $30k probably doesnt really matter does it? But as you see the end of your career on the horizon and you can choose to play every week or sit shivering on the bench...then i can imagine many players choosing to go and play.

either way, nothing will change that Kingy is and forever will be, a Leicester legend!
