4s for all they were all poor and no one deserves to be singled out as worse or better than the rest.

Grey was decent 6, the rest 4s. Notable exceptions being Iborra, Marez & N'Didi who all get a 3.

lol.

Collecitve failure.

4 for all the team bar Schmeichel who gets a 7.

5 for Puel because late subs.

Expecting manager confidence to sink by at least 10 points.

5's for everyone (including Puel) except:-

Schmeichel - 7 (MotM)

Ndidi - 3

Iborra - 4

Gray - 6

Central midfield was absolutely shocking, no help at all to the defence or the attack.  Worst I've seen Ndidi (and Iborra) play.  The midfield actually looked better when we were down to 10 men and Albrighton replaced Ndidi there.

The test for Puel now, is how well / quickly he'll sort this shambles out - he was totally out-thought by Old Woy today.

5's all around except Simpson who gets a 4.

Iborra and Ndidi can have a 3 as they were that bad.

I think this could get ugly. 2 or 3 players just above average the rest below. Simpson was simply horrendous.

Gray and Schmeichel our best players and get 6s just. Gray looked like the only outfield player who could be arsed to try before the interval. All the others mix of 3s and 4s. The two central midfielders were swamped and get 3. Defence was a nightmare too apart from Wes' first half blocks, Maguire looking great venturing forward at times but failing to do the basics at the back. No attacking edge at all. Everyone looked tired and leggy, which might be excusable after two trips in a week and the schedule. Well beaten all round including Puel whose seeming indifference and reluctance to make positive changes when it was clear they were needed was baffling beyond. Hodgson clear winner there, setting his team up well, especially once they went ahead.

If they are going to continue down this passing/possession game then they've got to learn very quickly how to find a blue shirt far to many passes went astray especially in the first half as we continually gave the ball back  to them after working so hard to get it. Not only does it give the opposition the edge and a growing confidence it totally messes up any chance we have of getting into our  stride and momentum.

Oh and FFS practice some throw ins  that don't  end up with the ball with opposition.

There it is - we simply kept passing straight to them.

Was he?  Or just a scapegoat again for people who want someone to blame

All of the starting eleven (except Kasper maybe) have massively underperformed but Puel is to blame as well for his complete lack of reaction to their pedestrian attitude and the way Palace played. I could understand losing with them after a fight but not this. The first half was especially shocking :( Woy's Palace were nothing extraordinary (6), but our players went to great lengths to make them look like world beaters. Too many of the lads looked tired and/or half arsed, suddenly unable to make a simple pass, and equally unwilling to show up and receive it (especially mind numbing when we were trailing 0-2). Vards must've felt more lonely in Palace box than his missus in the middle of the jungle on I'm a Celebrity.

I can fully understand some of the supporters booing, I don't think people deserved to witness that. It's very worrying to see us switch off at home versus one of the few worst sides in the league.

I don't think one can single out Simpson, there were others just as bad... Wilf got himself a nice birthday present:facepalm:

MOTM: :schlupp:
