It has been a privilege (and mostly a joy) following City and being part of the incredible rollercoaster since the turn of the century.

From leaving Filbert Street to

*                    New Stadium

*                    Administration

*                    Promotion

*                    Relegation :(

*                    League 1

*                    Promotion to the Championship

*                    New owners

*                    Watford….:(

*                    Winning the Championship

*                    Survival Premier League

*                    Winning the PL

*                    Champions League

*                    14th richest football club in the world

It never has been – and probably never will be boring following City. We should cherish and take in this incredible journey that only very few supporters anywhere will ever experience.

We can moan and complain ”the Leicester way” – but we have been very fortunate and maybe for the first time ever in the history of the club can look into the future with confidence of more good things to come. Incredible and long may it continue.:scarf:

What about the season under 'Tato Peeler when we were around about top in the Prem but then ended up relegated

Which is my point, why start there when there was so much bloody drama before it!

It is something that still staggers me today, I work with a lot of Colchester/Ipswich/Norwich/Cambridge fans and even a few West Ham / Tottenham lot, and we often compare what we have been through / celebrated over the years and seriously when I reel off what I've been witness to, even they are genuinely shocked.

I moan after a shite result like most but when I sit and look back I realise how damn lucky I am to have supported this team since I can remember.

In 25 years we've probably had two, average, nothing much happened seasons... that's pretty bloody mental.

I know, it's incredible really,  seven Wembley finals (three cup), one promotion and two championship winning promotions, and of course the holy grail of being premier league champions, than add three European campaigns and two failed play off campaigns. That's 16 years from 25 that we've had some measure of success, that's nine years of nothing in 25, that's some excitement.

My my eldest is 12, he has only ever known Leicester has a successful team, when we won the league, due to previous promotions he just assumed its what we did, won leagues every couple of years or so lol, he's never known my pain. lol

I'll just edit to say throw in the two relegation survivals then that's seven in 25 years, never dull. :scarf:

He's probably got some of the same ingrained fear that we'll stuff it up in any given time that some of us older ones can't seem to shake, I never feel safe until the final whistle even when we're winning comfortably 3-0 with 2 minutes left, lol I know we've not had that Leicester for a long time but it's so hard to shake. lol

Not sure, I'd say 2004 to 2008 were 4 dreadful nothing seasons, even the relegation was a bore we couldn't score a goal, was such a blessing in the end though.

You've conflated 2 seasons. We collapsed after the Wycombe match and then disintegrated the following season.

All these amazing events in our recent history and no one has mentioned:

Thr gang of 4 out!

Stan "the fireman" Collymore

Wise breaks davidsons jaw

Roy "teletext signing" Essandoh

The La Manga 9

 James "lick my bum" Pearson and friends

I'm sure there are many more stories! Never a dull moment on or off the field!

Good use of the language (I had to look up the definition)! lol

Shouldn't have doubted you but just checking in case I can find a grammatical error! :)

And yes after Wycombe I think we lost eleven straight league games. If we didn't have the points in the bank from our early season form we could well have been relegated. The rot had well and truly set in and the inevitable happened the following season.
