Will get bashed for my controversial views but ah well. No absolutely not. A tranny is just a bloke or woman with a mental illness. As I'm attracted to woman It'd just be a bloke trying to look like a woman.

To fish even further I think a tranny has to disclose their true identity to future mates and by not doing they are committing rape.

What's your take on the "trans panic" murder defence?

Do they have pulses?  lol

Ive seen some trannies and wouldnt know they were men unless they told you,   spoke to you or if you tried  the mc dundee grope lol

I suspect if a few drunken lads saw a passible post op "female" they might jam one in but unless you are very open sexually i cant see a lot of straight men dating a tranny.

I hadn't come across it before but after googling I would certainly agree that it is a mitigating factor in the same way sexual infidelity and the like are.

Fair enough.

Can see the analogy but IMO crime of passion or rage or whatever shouldn't be a mitigating defence in any circumstance - it's not like the person involved is any less dead because you hadn't planned it out, is it?

That's a ridiculous world view! You think a woman who slams an ashtray onto her husband's head when she finds out he's been sleeping with her sister, should be equally sentenced to someone who ripped a baby limb from limb and ate it?

If the victim is an innocent (like the baby you suggested), absolutely not. Harsher sentencing, absolutely.

I'm referring to incidents where the murdered party did something wrong in the eyes of the killer and difference in timeframe resulting from that - for instance, like if that woman kills her husband, does it really matter if she cracks him over the head with an ashtray as soon as she finds him, or a couple of weeks afterwards when she's had time to think about it? Does that really merit radically different sentencing?

Sorry for veering this offtopic btw.

Of course it does, if you have time to think about it the crime is and should be seen as far more heinous. The key reason that you are overlooking is that the mitigation in this particular instance is likely to be that it was done in a moment of recklessness and therefore it is a regrettable action. Clearly the same can't be said if you've had time to think about it. If I said horrible things to your mother and then you hit me, an assault charge would definitely struggle to land you in prison, maybe suspended at best. If I said things about your mother and then a few weeks later you hit me, there's a good chance you'd see the inside of a prison cell. Time is key in crime as the more time that elapses the weaker the causal link between provocation and action gets.

If you only judge a person by the their genitalia I don't really care about your opnion

Who is saying that? Most people judge by many criteria, but given that heterosexual males are biologically designed to seek out a female mate, their genitals is the first criteria.

A transexual has (in appearance) female genitalia. Unless told, most people would never know they were dating a trans person.

They are not mental!

Gender is not binary, it is on a scale and your genitalia has no bearing on your sexuality.

Genitals are everything with these kinds of people otherwise they would just pretend to be a woman or a man, by physically destroying your own genitals to change them into something else categorically states that you can not feel like the gender you want to be without having the correct genitalia thus the gender you want to be is defined by the genitals.

This thread isn't about whether gender and sex are the same or what people think of trannies, its about whether heterosexuals would sleep with them. If you have a problem with someone's sexual preference maybe you need to evaluate your worldview as I've definitely heard you discussing gay rights before and it seems you don't care for their opinion as they only want the cock.

Go on a date with someone knowing they were trans? Sure, why not, if you connect with someone anyone on an emotional level and find them physically attractive why not? You don't know who will satisfy your physical and emotional needs until you find them. Not being able to have kids would become a factor but there are ways round that.

The difficult one would be dating someone for a long time and having got serious then finding out they were trans, I would feel betrayed and lied to.

The scenario that I have recently witnessed and don't get at all is a married couple and the guy is now transitioning to a woman and so the wife is now a lesbian. In some ways it is quite inspiring that her love endures through something so dramatic, but he who is now a she has completely changed, not just name and appearance but personality and voice. With all the hormones she's injecting herself with she is acting like 15 year old girl.

A follow up question would be would you stay with your current wife/partner if they transitioned?

I can only assume you’ve confused Oz with someone else.

He is the last person who you could accuse of homophobia.

People can decide to be whatever gender they want to be, and choose to date whoever they want to date. Personally, I wouldn't date a trans person, fully transitioned or not, but I fully respect their choice and the choice of those who want to date them.

I'm sure he's not just pointing out how foolish it is to criticise people who judge others, when courting, based on genitalia.

No, you said this:

“I've definitely heard you discussing gay rights before and it seems you don't care for their opinion as they only want the cock.”

You are wrong.
