I've voted "Yes" but am a "Probably", really.

 

A couple of weeks ago, I turned on the BBC News channel and there was a woman being interviewed about politics and gender issues. 

As usual, while listening I was forming an opinion as to whether she was sexually attractive and decided that she was. I'd never heard of her.

After a while, it became apparent from the discussion that she was transsexual and had been born physically male but felt herself to be female.

So, I'm obviously capable of finding transsexual women attractive. Here she is: 

 

As for Matt's pre-op question, I honestly don't know.

I definitely wouldn't have been up for that when I was younger as there'd have been an element of insecurity about my sexual identity.

I'd like to think that I would be up for it now. After all, if you found someone really attractive and wanted to be with them, why wouldn't you want to give them some pleasure?

It's just a different bit of equipment, after all.... Whether that's how I'd really feel in that situation, I've no idea.

Maybe my understanding of biology is wrong but don't men have a more prominent 'Adam's apple' which would make identification easy? Or is the extra cartilage that men have removed as part of the sex change process?

@leicsmac just to further explain this, consider the purpose of prison. People go to prison to keep the public safe and to rehabilitate them, so if you fail to distinguish between different types of murder's, consider instead the difference in time in which someone is no longer a threat. Clearly a wife provoked by sexual infidelity in a fit of rage is going to be safe to the public and rehabilitated far sooner than someone who spends two weeks mulling it over and still goes through with it.

I see what you're saying here - but I'm still thinking that the overall provenance is the same; someone is killed, the other person meant to do it, whether they planned it or in the heat of rage, the intent is still the same.

 

However, with that in mind, I do agree that crimes based on momentary rage are more likely to see a criminal rehabilitated at a faster rate than one meticulously planned out because of the thought process of the person carrying it out, and prison sentences should probably be flexible purely based on that criterion.

Well since you ask I can confirm that all respondents have 'passed' for want of a better term at least one trans woman - even @the fox who clearly tried cheating with google!

 

Jamie Clayton (#1), Andreja Pejic (#2) and Ines Rau (#6) are all post op females.

 

The rest of the list was made up of Vanessa Hudgens (#3), Hannah Simone (#4), Nina Dobrev (#5), Cara Delevingne (#7), Gisele Bundchen (#8), Carmen Electra (#9) and some random woman promoting gatorade who came up as a top result when I googled post op women because of a dumb reddit post - not a transexual (#10).

 

Personally I'd be game for 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 10.

carl you legend . but to be fair, i know 4 of them, i watch a bit of NFL, vanessa and carmen i know and nina because of vampire diaries and the originals (don't judge ), think i used google for 3 of them.

There's an optional 'tracheal shave' operation which can remove the prominent cartilage.

There are also operations for feminising the rest of the face and for changing the voice to a higher pitch.

If it was a pre op trans woman still with a penis she wouldn't want you to suck it or even acknowledge it, most trans people have real issues about other people touching their born with genitalia in a sexual way and the amount of hormones they are taking they probably wouldn't even be able to get an erection. We're not talking a Thai lady boy who has had plastic surgery to satisfy sexually confused sex tourists, or some of those videos of the porns (it doesn't make you gay to have watched it only if you're wanking at the same time) it is not a sexual deviancy it is a psychological condition. Typically they completely disassociate themselves of all aspects of their birth gender and would not want you to touch their male bits. They may let you stick it up their bottom.

 

May answer would still be the same, if I found I had a deep connection with someone on an emotional and physical level then and they had a penis then I would be open to seeing how it goes and if it could work, yes that also means...

 

... a man.

 

I have only met a few people in my life where I have had that connection and all of them have been cis female, but should it happen again I'm not going to let a little thing like a penis get in the way of me being happy.
