First half was quite encouraging. However, we have several issues which can't be sorted until the summer.

But What was said by Puel at half time?Second half we were terrible and didn't manage a single shot on target against one of the worst sides I've seen this season. As far as I can see the Jan transfer window has left us weaker and with fewer options. We've shipped a load out on loan (not sold them) and now we don't have adequate cover in some areas.

Why on earth was Iheanacho taken off. By far his best game for us and once he went Vardy was even more isolated.

James, sorry but simply not the man to bring on when we need to create anything. Can't think of a single thing he contributed today. Same with Gray who seems to be going backwards. Fuchs was ok but lost his man for the goal. This happened quite a bit last season.Personally think a new left back is needed in the summer. Simpson as usual offers nothing in an attacking sense.

Albrighton was basically poor most of the time.Got in good positions but his crosses seldom beat the first defender.

Set pieces. We can't defend them and having a corner is pretty much a waste of time.

Diabate shoed promise but no ore than that and has a lot to learn about positioning.

Overall not too bad but we should have won and the losss of Mahrez simply leaves a hole to big to fill with the current squad.

Some good points but Silva and Iheanacho , who both had very good games were both clearly knackered and were no longer contributing in what was becoming a war of attrition. I think the same for Simpson who after injury needed some protection. All understandable and not meant as criticism.

Silva was awful, a few fancy flicks and turns, that usually conceded possession. Doesn’t penetrate with his passing or look like scoring, no shots. Complete show pony

Did we beat a piss poor Swansea with our foreign star doing something?

oh I see - it was his fault that Diabate was offside in the build up to ndidi’s goal and that nacho managed to hit mawson’s face from five yards. If you couldn’t see what he brought to the table then there’s not much point debating with you

Really? I was watching slick one touch passing in the first half. Nearly every ball Diabate and Ndidi received came from Silva. Easy to miss though as he didn't need several touches on the ball like some of our other players. Apparently radio Leicester and the BBC commented on it also.

No there isn’t because he created nothing. Obviously not all down to him, but in the games he has played so far, he has done very little.hopefully he will improve

Oh piss off you twat. He wasn’t ****ing ‘awful’ he looked like a player still adapting to the English game. At time he showed some lovely touches, and vision unlike yourself who clearly lacks it. He showed a damn site more than Matty James.... give Silva a few weeks and he will be controlling that midfield like puppeteer and you’ll be sat eating your words.

Hopefully, but as you say “adapting to the English game” fancy flicks and stupid turns need to go. Swans midfield was terrible and he he still looked average ar times.Puppeteer? Grow up you dickhead

Shit the bed.....And you can conclude that he is ‘awful’ after a hand full of cup games and a few apprerances from the bench? He’s used to playing that way and yes he will need to ****ing adapt.... it even took Cambiasso a few games to get the Premier league (or was he awful too?), write him off and call him awful if he is still doing this in April.. until then give him a chance and stop being a melodramatic bellend.

Fair result, unfortunately. Never really looked like scoring second half.

Fair result?? The official stats say they had 3 shots. I can only remember the one they scored from. We definitely deserved the win.

The official stat was 1-1 at full time.

Of course. But I don't think many would say that was a fair reflection of the game.

It's all about opinions, we dominated the first half, they dominated large parts of the second half, we never looked like scoring second half at all.

They had more possession for last 5 minutes of the first half and first 10 minutes of the second. In that time they had a single shot of any description and it went in. Other than that, we dominated. They were awful and deserved nothing in my view. That's not to say I don't agree that in the second half we lacked creativity - we were missing a crucial bit of skill to break down a ten man defence. Funny that.

Ealing- Your post count isn't high enough to be allowed a differing opinion mate, you are flogging a dead horse chap!

Stay around a bit, have a look at a few threads, you'll find the quality of posts early doors is pretty awful. Maybe you two are the exception!

Should have finished them in 1st half and didn't turn up for the first 20 of the 2nd half. Poor result and 2 points dropped against a very very poor team. Massive improvements needed to get anything from City!

If they are poor how did they beat Arsenal and Liverpool it isnt league  position but current form

On their day anyone can beat anyone. Huddersfield best United earlier in the season and they are absolute trash. In the 1st half Swansea were awful and we should have been 3-0 up at ht. We didn't take our chances and took our foot off the gas and dropped 2 points. That doesn't take away the fact they are a poor team. He got 2 good results before they played us but ultimately he won't be able to polish a turd and I'd be very surprised if they stay up with that squad!

Some opinions are better than others tho. Most days we would win on that performance.

Apart from the goal (:() I thought Fuchs was pretty good. Imho he can still do a job, as long as we don't expect him to be quick, and is the best left footed crosser we have.

He was virtually playing them on his own for the last 10 minutes... Probably knew if we didn't score he would get slaughtered.

I really like Drago too, much more reliable with the ball than Maguire, and almost always on the floor. I don't see how Puel can justify dropping him, until he does something wrong.
