If he continue to be absent, he will be worth only 10 or 20 millions this summer !

Legal stuff on football contracts above suggests he may be liable for any loss suffered by LCFC including lost transfer fee, if he walks away. As we were 'offered' £65m then if he goes for less, RM is liable for the difference. Blimey.

Silence from LCFC probably means they are getting lawyered up big time, as thats what I'd be doing, whilst talking nicey nicey in public. Owners are smart people.

There is no loss in something you don't control , it's the market ...

So it's ok when his value up from 450 K to 65 millions , but it's not ok when it goes down ?!  ?

Thought he represented the players which if the case he should be wanting mahrez to settle his dispute. He’s not a mediator, he’s a players representative.

the quotes from The Times

mahrez denzbds

1- assuring him move in the summer

2- included a release clause

this make sense that  a solution though mediation is nearing

PFA has offered to help for both parties but no answer and yesterday Gordon Taylor reiterated his help and mahrez two demands  just ease Taylor s mediation

I just dont understand how we can assure him a Summer move...?

So far, we know for a fact Roma would také him for 35 million GBP or whatever.  We cant accept that fee

Man City will probably not come back for him.

Mahrez has effed up in his desperation

assurance means not standing in his move in the summer and secondly a RC  with an agreed price from both sides

mahrez will also stand to his word by being professional

no club coming from him he continue to be a lcfc player

No no no, Mahrez is contracted to the club, the club alone decide what price they are prepared to accept for their contracted player. Riyads mardy arse attitude and the advice he's received from incompetent agents have landed him in this mess!

If he doesn't grow up and do what he's paid for then he will not get his 'big' move as noone will touch the sulky prat.

If we sell a PFA Player of the Year winner for less than what Coutinho went for then we have been robbed. I'd tell him he can either have a £150 million release clause on the same wage he's on now or he can honour his contract and rot in the reserves. Mahrez is not in the driving seat here, the club is.

I got your highlighted point, agreed has more legal flair into it , maybe the word acceptable will do the job.

I don't think mshrez will progress into black holing his career or ruining his dreams, as the recent history of players s dispute with their clubs such coutinho , auba , VVD , or potentially top players ( mbappe , ousmane dembele ) all get their moves and now following their dreams .

instead i I might do harm to average players , and we have a plethora of real examples

I believe we are touching the final mile of a true and durable solution , as we do need mahrez in fa cup game next week   and I not afraid of Saturday game as puel will sort out a competitive team to gain st least one point

Why can't you spell Mahrez?

Why the FVCK should we give the mardy cvnt anything. He has a contract and got the deal he wanted and signed it. So now he needs to keep to his side of the bargain get on with it and play football. Oh and shut the FVCK up.

Once again Claude Puel refuses to confirm whether Riyad Mahrez has permission to remain away from training and won't put a date on his return to the club. Puel calls him a "magnificent player" but Mahrez is unavailable to face Manchester City. #bbcradioleicester #MCILEI #lcfc

You won't get anything else. Lucky we are getting that comment and not a for legal reasons I cant comment.

you have to come to reality , facts are speaking loudly ( mahrez had lost trust in the owners )

Puel said , in his CP:

- don't know when mahrez will return

- we keep this inside the club

so a solution will occur when mahrez two demands are met ( then mahrez s white smoke will come and sign of it mahrez big smile

PS : I heard mahrez is in Algeria

I appreciate  your opinion that a compromise is the solution Almo, however, due to Riyads  ridiculous, ill advised and immature behaviour our owners will not deviate from a hard line stance and high valuation. I personally  fully back their standpoint for the club' sake. As brilliant as Riyad is as a player this behaviour should never be tolerated and it will always be club first for me!
