Is it just me? For me, he's just been getting better, looks a real goal scorer and has looked sharp since he's started scoring goals.

Controversially, I reckon he could be sticking it in the back of the net more than vardy this season given the chance in his position.

That said, its a tricky one as vardy work rate is hard to measure in what it does for the team. But don't know why nacho didnt start against man c. Hasn't done much wrong.

Not sure of the stats, but it seems to me he makes a pretty good fist of most chances he gets.

I agree. He would offer another dimension. The partnership should at least be tested more.

Vardy scored a great goal against Man City and pretty much created it out of nothing

Id like to see Nacho play more but maybe with Vardy

Vardy gets no service, still creates a goal out of nothing and takes it brilliantly... "Why didn't he start iheanacho?". Not really the tactical decision to question is it?

id like to see more of a chance at their partnership, looked like it might have something v Swansea, first half particularly.

When slim arrived there was a lot of talk about getting the two to ' gel ' etc. Nacho and vards should obviously work in my opinion, but if not  , when comes the point when we start picking strikers on goal scoring form?

I hate to point this out, but Vardy has scored in the last 4 league games...

It is really tough being the 2nd best no9 at the club, look at what happened to Slim. Hopefully Puels rotational instincts mean we can give Nacho enough to time to show he should get played, as often as Claude can fit him in.

Can't see Nacho as a no10 because he doesn't really press, looks too bulky for that, to me. Maybe he would do better laying off the weights for a bit.

I do think he looks like a fine finisher though, and like Slim, he will get goals in this league, given the opportunity.

Vardy and Iheanacho needs a run of 5 or 6 games to see if it can work.

Especially given our run of games now, could really build something!

Still finding it hard to believe we have shelled out 28million on a striker who hasn't scored a league goal and we are half way through February.

Still seen nothing to suggest he'll be a regular at this level and anyone who would play him ahead of Vardy is borderline insane.

Man City away was not the game to to play Nacho, we knew we would have very little possession and feeding off scraps. He set up Vardy against Swansea and I could see the logic in playing them together against Sheffield United.

We played Vardy and Slimani together several times and it never worked bar maybe Burnley at home

I thought it worked ok against Porto at home too.

Yeah fair enough, early part it was okay, but the longer it went on it became clear it was never going to work.
