Wrong.

a CCJ is only issued when you are taken to court and then still  DONT pay.

I never said otherwise mate , I said you COULD send up with a CCJ

so I wasn’t wrong , obviously there are steps

My solicitor who was advising me told me that story , I was taken to court by a company called parking eye , I had told them it wasn’t me driving but my brief told me not to risk that claim in court if it wasn’t true , and he told me that story

for the record I paid the fine and the £125 court fees/costs , I didn’t want to go to court (again!)

Parking eye were threatening me with court though I was prepared to fight it, in the end I got let off, the court said they'd paid my fine. However I know someone who challenged it and got the bill vastly reduced through mediation via the court.

I downloaded the ' parking prankster ' from kindle which gives advice and tells you what to expect, such as stock threatening letters add each step of their prosecution. It also gives advice on how to respond to each letter and how to mediate with them in court if necessary.

Also. Don't get frightened about court. I'm my case it was an online court and the person I know used the court meditation service, the court rings them, then they ring parking eye, than ring the other person back as so on.

My fine (invoice) came thru. £60 if paid within 29 days. Decisions...

Do nothing is my advice.

You may get a couple of letters saying they've handed it to their legal department but if you never correspond with them then nothing will likely happen. They prey on your fear of being taken to court.  I've literally had dozens and ignored them all and nothing has ever happened.

Yep, that's the one, but it was Comprehensive Management Services in a type face similar to that of an early John Bull printing  set. Pragmatic view says I've been parking there for four years now so less than 75p a game is not bad value! Better than the £16 LCFC charge or the £10 at the boatyard each match. They were ticketing people again on Sat apparently

These are some of the comments made by the MPs in Parliament concerning
the unregulated parking industry (Feb 2018):

https://hansard.parliament.uk/commons/2018-02-02/debates/CC84AF5E-AC6E-4E14-81B1-066E6A892807/Parking
(CodeOfPractice)Bill

''Rip-offs from car park Cowboys must stop''; unfair treatment; signage
deliberately confusing to ensure a PCN is issued; ''years of abuse by
rogue parking companies''; bloodsuckers; ''the current system of
regulation is hopeless, like putting Dracula in charge of the blood-
bank''; extortionate fines; rogue operators; ''sense of injustice'';
unfair charges and notices; wilfully misleading; signage is a
deliberate act to deceive or mislead; ''confusing signs are often
deliberate, to trap innocent drivers''; unreasonable; a curse;
harassing; operating in a disgusting way; appeals service is no
guarantee of a fair hearing; loathed; outrageous scam; dodgy practice;
outrageous abuse; unscrupulous practices; ''the British Parking
Association is as much use as a multi-storey car park in the Gobi
desert''; and finally, by way of unanimous conclusion: ''we need to
crack down on these rogue companies. They are an absolute disgrace to
this country. Ordinary motorists and ordinary residents should not have
to put up with this''.

These are the exact words used, so you should quote them to your MP in
a complaint and ask him/her to contact Sir Greg Knight MP if he wants
further information about this scam.

Send them a letter like this and they won’t bother you again. I’ve lost count the number of times I’ve done it! Its on private land & you didn’t enter into an agreement so they can’t enforce the penalty

I’ve had things like this overturned before but doing my research the company that got me on Dartford Road are taking people to court so I’ve paid it.

Tempted to get my money back by downloading the app and shopping other people in that park there though lol.

Does their website say they are taking people to court for parking fines specifically or is it like most of them other areas of their murky business relating to say housing and repossession orders etc..?

Does anyone know regulations for parking in Fosse Park for the day, if you are not shopping there, work close by and no parking available around the area. But security have been on patrol making notes of the registrations.

There are no parking signs there at all.

If they haven't got any signs up there isn't really much they can do.

Where about in Fosse Park? There are signs scattered about, but they aren't as obvious as normal pay car parks. Asda for instance this is on the way in...

In the actual fosse park bit, near M&S.

It's a pain at the moment because there is no parking available close to the office, so fosse park is the only place that's close by

Security was there this morning, scattered around watching the cars and making notes.

I think that's just scare tactics, in fosse park it's self there are no signs.

A disgruntled M&S worked told a few people to move and FP doesn't need signs as it's private land. Also, a few people's cars have been keyed.

As Costock said, I don't believe they can do anything without a notice
