For whats its worth this is my take on why we have been so bad over the last or so, in point form.

1- most of the blame falls at mahrezs feet since his little blow up we have not won a game in the league, and we have faced sides well below us. things may seem all good but maybe a lot of players still feel betrayed by him, thus the turn down in form.

2- puel has a lot to answer for his team selections over the last 5-6 weeks have been some what mad and bewildering along with his subs have been dreadful, when we were getting results we had nididi and ibborra in the midfield and we were creating lots of chances then he drops ibborra and well all the results are there for every one to see.

3- he has continued to pick players like gray, chillwell and iheanacho who are playing crap football, todays game iheanacho could not control the ball at all his 1st touch is pathetic and that goes for gray as well.

4- this one may hurt a few but, vardy has gone right of the boil, if the ball is not there for him to run on to it he does **** all. he never presents himself to hold the ball up and his greastest asset closing down seems a thing of the past his time may be up unless he changes thing up.

i guess i will cope a few what the fcks but that how i see thing at present, would like to hear ur views.

Think you've had one too many glasses of lemonade tonight sunshine. Not quite sure what you're moaning about Puel picking Chilwell, Iheanacho and Gray when none of them started today. I, along with many, have been disappointed with the results and performances in 2018 but I think it's unfair to judge Puel at this moment in time. Give him a pre-season and a summer transfer window where he can sort out an ageing squad which he has inherited, then this time next year we can judge him properly. We need a few seasons of mid table stability and unfortunately that comes with a few frustrating results and performances which we have seen in the past few weeks.

Where to start...

continues to to pick Ihenacho - no he doesn’t. Hasn’t picked him since he set up our only goal against Swansea.

Its Mahrez’s fault - It’s certainly his fault we didn’t lose against Bournemouth.

Vardy off the boil - see above.

well i wanted to prove a point, that no matter what u say on here nobody wants to see it as a debate rather just blow it out of the water. it just goes to show how many people are like sheep follow the main stream with out question, see the post as questioning whats happening not to tear down.

Last week i posted to say that managers need to review how their own expectations panned out and their decisions went..so that they remove biases and poor choices.

Watching yesterday i think they should also look at progress.  For the life of me i cant figure our what puel is asking the players to do.

The gray at 10 experiment is over.  Silva was involved and worked hard..  but needs to lose the trick shots.

I like james but he is not looking to play the ball fwd. ..  is he really ahead of iborra?

The biggest issue is our lack of work rate... maybe the team need shinji to put it in...weird.  imo diabate injects energy... may be he should be 10

So does anyone know what puel is trying to do?

Easy one this , the reason for the down turn of results is PUEL nothing else the guys a clueless terrible manager. I don't care how much bad press we get the guy needs to be sacked for the sake of the club. The owners wont accept this for much longer

When has he picked ineacho in a leauge match? If he's getting game time it's because we only have 2 fit strikers.

You won’t accept it, but the owners will. Calm down.

WHY IS YOUR TITLE IN CAPITALS?

WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING AT US?

Oh, I’ve just read your post.

[sucks air through teeth and looks to the side]

1.  Mahrez - best player we’ve ever had. Even when he’s not brilliant, he’s still capable of brilliance. Like yesterday. And you slag him...

2. & 3. Puel’s selection - Iborra wasn’t pulling up trees before he was dropped.  There’s a lot of posts in here to suggest “player X is on the bench, he’s the magical solution to our problems”, only for disappointment to set in when they get a game. Iheanacho has hardly played as a starter, so how can you slag him?

3. Vardy - He’s only our record Premier League scorer, having another fairly fruitful season.  He scares the life out of opponents to the extent that they change the way they set up to neutralise him.  He’s scored in the recent past. What are you on about?

Don't know why the abuse for the OP you bunch of weirdos.

I don't think it is any coincidence that we were looking good and had expectations of Europe until the mahrez saga blew up.  I said it at the time that this has derailed our season and I think that is exactly what is happening.

ur a moron, not once have i slaged mahrez, u dope, i said he has derailed the teams season, nothing about his quality.

as for iborra  if u cant see the down turn in results since his non selection ur a bigger dope again.

vardy yes still scoring but he is been less effective and his work rate is way down again i guess u dont want to see that either.

Whereas I do not entirely agree with all your points BP  I do completely agree with an underlying context.

Pre yesterday  numerous football experts on here were screaming for creativity and lambasting the lack of Sìlva, that went well! Reactionary expertise at it's best is the Foxestalk way and prepare yourself for the KFA clique to lambast you.Yesterday, imo, all players bar Big Harry were below par or doggo and I truly believe Riyad's big sulk and diabolical behaviour has caused an issue which is still being worked through and has impacted morale, togetherness, performance and ultimately results!

I think the league is already over in the players minds. Coupled with the fact there is a World Cup this summer, many of our players won’t want to get injured and may be holding back to make sure they’ve got something left in the tank once the World Cup rolls around.

I can still believe that Mahrez knocked us severely out of our stride, we could have been pressurizing Arsenal for 6th now had he turned up and played at Everton...but he's still the best player we have at our disposal and once again proved his worth with a magnificent free kick when we we'd all but lost the game.

I find it hard to believe that we punted out both of our alternative strikers, they could still do a job when called upon, particularly Slimani (no I don't rate him. but he's still our next best striker).

I was actually (and rather foolishly) thinking this morning what if we played Vardy as an out and out left winger...having shipped out our alternative target men, who would be the target man....Gray....no, Iheanacho....no, Silva....possible I suppose, George Thomas to step up....hmmmm.....and then I woke up and thought don't be so fcuking stupid.

I have to trust in Puel, because he's the manager that we have and our owners are not going to give him the push before he's had at least 1 more transfer window (not sure that he can do any more than offer up a wish list to Rudkin.

Maybe we need to look at the support he's getting from his side-kicks, Michael Appleton, Pascal Plancque and Mike Stowell, it always seems to be Appleton that has his ear on matchdays, is he saying the right things, does Puel understand him, what does Plancque for a living?

Team selection and substitutes aren't working particularly well at the moment...for me it's time to say goodbye to Fuchs, Morgan and Huth...possibly Simpson also as Puel's not a fan of out and out full backs, and Simpson will never be a wingback as long as he has a hole in his ar$e...but that only leaves us with Amartey and Albrighton as cover without raiding the u23 squad.
