I went to the O2 on Saturday night to see Peter Kay, I was quite surprised

how quiet the bar area was until I checked out the prices, £10 for a pint

of Stella or £8.50 for a can of Bud.

The thought of that is quite sobering.

Haha reminds me of Wembley during the euros. £7.50 for a warm and long ago opened can of Heineken. Wimps queuing round the concourse waiting for one. I wonder what the tipping price point of alcohol at events is? I think a large amount of people haven’t got the backbone to say no to £15+

Went for a quick half time Chang and I walked back past the bar staring at 20+ pre poured pints that weren’t being sold.

just lower the price you’ll sell more

A Gilden Kölsch in an Irish pub (only place I could find not absolutely rammed on a Saturday evening) in Cologne.

Starnberger Hell at a mate's wedding in Bochum was a new treat on Friday.

Literally been going through most of Vault City cans recently, well what I can source. My sister lives in Edinburgh so hoping she can bring some down for me soon, can’t justify paying between 8-11 quid at places like Tonne and so on, for a can. Supermarket has been a good place to find them but I’ve nearly done most of them now.

My brother did a collaboration with vault and came up with this:

I'm dying to try the Iron Brew, but my favourite is Sunshine on Portobello.

Don't tell my brother, but it was only ok......

I was expecting Raspberry and Blueberries, but got bubblegum and alcohol.

Tynt Meadow. Locally brewed by Monks. Really good stuff! But not cheap!!

Amazing how under the radar this is in Leicestershire.

If it was from Yorkshire folks would be going mental.

It's top quality beer and the new blonde version is lovely.

The English Strong Bitter Mt St Bernard’s did was unbelievably good

It was insanely good beer that was. Really subtle but the style of their beers carries through into all of them.

Was so drinkable for the strength. Was it on at the Rock? (Annoys me how few pubs in town serve local breweries’ beer).

I’d recommend the tour if you haven’t already done it.

Been on in Blue Boar recently. Also noticed it was on a coming soon page for a place I’m visiting in Hereford next week. Must be branching out.

Black Horse has it in currently as-well.
