Surely could pick him up for between £25-£30m too? Lyons best player and has champions league football next season. Wouldn’t be sold for any less than £60 mill, also with Lyon likely to lose Fekir they won’t sell Depay aswell. From what I’ve been reading pereiras main incentive was to link up with Puel again? I do do think we need to aim higher than some of the suggested replacements for Mahrez, however, Depay is currently in better form than Mahrez, younger and playing for a top 4 side in his league. Definitely would be able to fill the void left by Mahrez though. I personally like the look of Simone Verdi from Bologna. Has a cracking shot on him, quick feet, can pick out a pass and still very young at 25. Reckon he wouldn’t be too expensive either.
