davieG Posted 11 April 2018 Posted 11 April 2018 Mays as well add him in to the list of tenuous links. Crystal Palace and Leicester City are reportedly keeping tabs on the Norwich City ace. According to a report from the Mirror, Leicester and Crystal Palace are keeping tabs on Norwich City winger Josh Murphy, and the Canaries could be forced to sell due to financial concerns. The 23-year-old has been in fine form for the East Anglia outfit this season, scoring 10 goals in 42 appearances in all competitions thus far. The Mirror claim that the Foxes and the Eagles are closely monitoring his situation at Carrow Road, amidst reports that Norwich could be forced to sell the speedy winger. Murphy possesses pace in abundance, and his direct playing style would certainly help add some potency to Leicester or Palace's play in the final third. The Englishman began his career as a trainee at Carrow Road, and has impressed since making his senior debut for the club way back in 2013. Palace are arguably more in need of a winger than Leicester, with Wilfried Zaha's future at Selhurst Park uncertain to say the least. Murphy is under contract with Norwich until the summer of 2021, so the Canaries will most probably demand a fairly substantial fee for his services. The 23-year-old's twin brother Jacob was sold to Newcastle last summer for £12 million, and with that in mind, Josh would surely be worth the same.

Lovejoy Posted 11 April 2018 Posted 11 April 2018 Saw him a few times for MK two seasons ago, wasn't that impressed tbh.
Horibbly Wrong Posted 11 April 2018 Posted 11 April 2018 Does this fit in with Puel's possession narrative?
CosbehFox Posted 11 April 2018 Posted 11 April 2018 Scores a worldy at the weekend + think of Prem club likely to sell a winger in the summer + Norwich's parachute payments = rag story. 1

MPH Posted 11 April 2018 Posted 11 April 2018 I liked it more when we were not in competition with the likes of Palace for players
Stevosevic Posted 11 April 2018 Posted 11 April 2018 He's nowhere near the level of Gray so can't see this happening 1
mannyzlcfc Posted 11 April 2018 Posted 11 April 2018 Norwich fans were booing him until he scored Saturday.....

adamlcfcbevo85 Posted 12 April 2018 Posted 12 April 2018 Worth 10 mill maybe 13 mill max anything else be in mentioned is a joke. Would prefer to get a proven player at top level for the money that's being branded about for him
AKCJ Posted 12 April 2018 Posted 12 April 2018 Why would we sign the worse of the two Murphy brothers, the better of which can't get into Newcastle's team.

Ian Nacho Posted 13 April 2018 Posted 13 April 2018 Watched him last week and he looked class in all fairness.
GeorgeTheFox Posted 13 April 2018 Posted 13 April 2018 Watched him a few times when I used to live near Norwich. Absolute gash... Just another winger with no product
TMELcfc Posted 16 April 2018 Posted 16 April 2018 From Norwich supporting friends... ‘bang average’ Might as well continue being frustrated with Gray 1
