I didn't like the first series much and wouldn't want to re-watch it but it gets much, much better once it establishes itself.

 

As strange as it sounds, I often have got hooked on series mid season or in a later series then gone back and re watched from the beginning, wheras If I started at the pilot I might have got bored and not bothered.

Surprised Orange is the New Black hasn't been mentioned yet, that's really good.

Curb Your Enthusiasm, so many pant-piss moments.

Black Mirror. Great show, each episode is different

 

Other shows I'd recommend, but maybe not to binge because they're short series or still ongoing:

Stranger Things. Best show of all time.

Mindhunter. Great show, only 1 season so far but the 2nd is being made

End of the F***ing World. Very original but short series.

This Country. Really funny mockumentary on BBC iPlayer

Watching Sopranos myself atm, it's brilliant. The only thing that comes close for me are Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and the first 2 seasons of LOST.

 

Other good ones I've watched are The Mist and True Detective. Walking Dead and Sons of Anarchy were ok, but both got boring after 4 seasons, becoming repetitive.

Ya I have ditched normal TV now and cancelled sky , an addiction I had for 20 plus years
