Are you lost in the Mahrez thread? Swear he won PFA player of the year as well as player of the year that season.

The PFA votes are decided in January aren't they? I can't be 100% sure but at the end of the season I think it was fairly widely accepted on here that Kante probably was our best player that season but it was Vardy and Mahrez that won the the plaudits

It's a personal choice if you think a players is an lcfc legend for whatever measure you choose then he's  a legend.  No one can take that away from you.

Kante: Hero

Vardy: Legend

It is subjective, I would call Cambiasso a legend because he came for one year to give us everything his experience and ability had to offer and he delivered on and off the pitch.

Kante came, reluctantly, to play as well as he could for himself to progress, fair enough, he played bloody well and I’ll always be grateful, but he didn’t love the club.

A legend goes above and beyond just playing well on the pitch, a legend puts the club first.

.....quite simply whenever the title winning team is mentioned his name will always be part of the list of players. In 100 years (should the club still be going) his name will be mentioned in the team list.

  Legendary status, yes!!!!!

Hmm. he's came to watch us play multiple times since he left. More than academy graduate Jeff Schlupp (to my knowledge) for example. Obviously if he loved the club that much he wouldn't have left but it's he clearly enjoyed his time here.

Leicester supporters will still be talking about him 50 years from now, perhaps still debating whether he's a legend or not.

Most who don't think he's a legend will be dead by then. Everyone after will agree that he is.

No player has made me laugh to myself like N’Golo. I especially remember the first halves at Newcastle and Arsenal away where he was cosmically good. I remember Ranieri saying he had to play him on the fvcking wing at first because he couldn’t not play the bloke.

Still love him to death.

Arguably the most influential player in the world that season. I think other players probably could have played similarly to Vardy and Mahrez but nobody could have played like him.

no way, he was a great player but a grub of a person, got a start when i doubt any other side would have taken him, and then shits on us.should never be given legend status.

Definitely, not just for being a vital member of the squad but for his relationship with the club, ie still coming to watch our games every now and again

‘Grub of a person’. Disgusting language to describe a lad so humble he drives a mini and still watches us on occasions.

Made the right choice retrospectively

Is Claudio Raneri a club legend?

If if he is, then so is Kante

The definition of a legend:

An extremely famous or notorious person, especially in a particular field.

In 20 - 30 years, people will ask you, who played for Leicester when they won the league. How many of those names will spring straight to mind?

Will people talk in hushed tones in years to come in how he played so brilliantly for us and was such an intrical part in the Premier League winning team? I think he will be remembered as a legend.

I met him on a couple of occasions and he came across as very humble and unassuming. Clearly there were a number of factors (including some personal / family) why he went to Chelsea and although extremely disappointing I don't think you can hold that against him too much.
