I understand he's contracted to us and ain't gonna give alot way, come out with the cliches and play things down but I thought he'd be abit more straight talking than he's just been.

Looks like he's lacking bollocks as Puel is, I'm surprised by that.

Looks like he does not want to say anything and came out with rubbish basically, then again cant blame him, looks gutted over the Ferguson thing at the start of the show.

Because that system was no longer working for us.

We relied too highly on it. We're not classed as a small team anymore and teams come to nullify our threats rather than play expressive stuff; which means we do have to evolve and change it up a bit

We need a cross between the two, really. Energy, pace and aggression, mixed with a willingness to keep the ball on the deck.

People keep saying that but i'd argue it worked/works a hell of alot better than this new, boring, dull, infective and suffocating style Puel has implemented.

Certainly with these current players.

Now with other players maybe it would work - I'm not sure I want to take that risk - however, obviously something has to change, we need to move on, we need to move forwards.

But regardless this style, system that Puel has implemented does not work with these players, now I ask him to work with what he's got, get the best out of what he's got, then maybe we wouldn't be questioning his future, he might still have a job at the end of the season but it's almost like he's refused, it's his system and style and that's it. It's like he only knows one way and one way only. It isn't working and he looks clueless.

We shouldn't change it mid season the time to experiment is during tbe close season which we couldn't do because it took to long to appoint a manager

Exactly! We didn't even need to revolutionise the way we play, we just needed an alternative way of playing as well as the fast break to keep the opposition guessing!

Just like one of my spells..... It's all smoke n mirrors.... just disguising the fact they really don't know what they're doing. I'm expecting Hammer to play up front with Wes against Arsenal...

Wrong, it worked great and still does. Literally every game we’ve won or played well in can be attributed to playing the style we did when we won the league, without exception.

We never got found out, the problem was people assumed we would be and tried to play a different way before we started playing badly.

The first game of last season against Hull we tried to play possession football for no good reason and lost. We’ve been making the same mistake for the last 2 years.

'Hammer ' up front?

That would be the final nail in Puel's coffin!
