Wolves table offer for Leicester City attacker ahead of summer window

According to a claim in the Turkish media, Wolverhampton Wanderers have tabled a bid for Leicester City attacker Ahmed Musa.

The Nigeria international is currently on loan with CSKA Moscow and his future at Leicester City is uncertain.

Sabah have reported Musa could be heading to Turkey in the summer transfer window, with Galatasaray leading the way to sign the player.

The Turkish side are on the verge of grabbing a place in next season’s Champions League, which could appeal to Musa.

However, it’s reported Wolves are also monitoring the situation with Musa as they look to bolster their squad for next season.

Last month Wolves were promoted to the Premier League and since then the Championship champions have been linked with a host of players.

Despite Wolves reported interest, the Turkish press believe, and maybe hope, Musa will snub a move back to England after his struggles at Leicester City.

With the Galatasaray, Besiktas and Fenerbahce recently being linked with the Nigerian a move to Turkey looks more likely, with claims the player would be open to playing in the Turkish Super Lig.

CSKA Moscow are also said to be interested retaining the player when his loan spell with the Russian club expires next month.

Musa wants to stay with CSKA though. Are they not interested?

My bad, skim reading. Hopefully they will offer a decent amount back, he's been good for them but doesn't seem suited to English football. Very much a confidence player too.

I wouldn't pay any attention to this. We're being linked with every man and his dog at the minute.

Plenty of people think Musa is doggo so if the cap fits......................

I don't care where he goes, just hope we get a reasonable fee back in return for him and can get him off the wage bill as soon as we can. Moving on the likes of Musa and Benalouane etc. is key to re-affirming our direction.

Can't believe Wolves or anyone else in the prem would be interested.

I reckon we'll be stuck with him until his contract is up. Complete waste of money.

I want him to go to Wolves, as curious to see how he would do playing more in the Prem, although I don't expect much.

I don't think he would be a good signing for them, but lets hope we can get a decent enough fee wherever he goes.

Going to be a Kramaric situation, I think.

Not a chance. You could tell immediately Kramaric had technical ability, he just didn't fit how we play.

Musa can't trap a football.

I'd forgotten about him!

35 goals in 92 appearances for Hoffenheim.

Still think he was too lightweight here but certainly a talented guy.

Can't see Musa doing much in the Prem though tbh.

Musa's touch and control are beyond belief for a footballer at PL level.

He's a highlights player, I've seen him more than enough times to know he's a poor footballer with terrible technique and that is never going to change. If we can get something like half our money back we've done really well and the odd wonder performance like the one he did against Barcelona won't change that.
