We're going to Austria as well?? lol

Some point in between the Notts Co and Valencia games. Expecting most of the players that were at the World Cup to be back for Austria apart from Maguire and Vardy.

- Two of Leicester City’s pre-season friendlies in Austria have been confirmed for live broadcast exclusively on LCFC TV in the UK and Thailand
- The Foxes will play Turkish side Akhisarspor on Wednesday 25 July (5pm KO), followed by Serie A team Udinese on Saturday 28 July (2pm KO)
- Claude Puel’s side travel to Klagenfurt for a week-long training camp on Monday 23 July
- Tickets are available on the day at each of the venues in Austria

Claude Puel’s Foxes travel to Austria on Monday 23 July for a week-long training camp as part of their preparations for the 2018/19 Premier League campaign, with the two games now scheduled to take place in that week.

First up will be Turkish side Akhisarspor on Wednesday 25 July (5pm KO BST) at Villach Lind Stadion. The team finished 11th in the Turkish Super League last term and ended the campaign on a high by lifting the Turkish Cup in May – their first major trophy.

City will take them on at Stadion Villach Lind. The 2,000-seater venue is home to Austrian side Villacher SV and is located close to the team’s training base for the week.

The Foxes will then face one of their biggest tests of pre-season as they take on Serie A side Udinese on Saturday 28 July (KO 2pm BST) before heading back to England. The Italians, who have boasted a host of international stars over recent years, are regulars in European competitions and will provide some stern opposition as Puel’s side step up their preparations.

That fixture will take place in the 32,000-seater Wörthersee Stadion, which is the home ground of Austrian top-flight side Austria Klagenfurt.

Both fixtures will be shown live in the UK and Thailand on LCFC TV.

Nice one Leicester letting fans that might want to travel the information very late on.

its only a friendly in Austria? I dont think they are too concerned about fans being there? I think they want fans to go Lille and valencia.

Which is a shame really.

There will be a reason.. they must have a agreement with Lille to try pack out that stadium hence putting on foxes travel and that sort of thing!

You can see it from that perspective, but we don't know how easy/hard it was to arrange for those friendlies to take place.

You always require the agreement of the opposition, otherwise it's not happening.

Let's also not forget that these friendlies, although officially announced, aren't always set in stone. There's enough examples of these kind of matches having been annulled before kick-off.

This is the first time the club has had to handle 10 players going to a World Cup.

This must have made organising pre season a nightmare for the club, especially as it's a new thing for them to deal with.

I rather the club be focuses on the fitness and being read for a challenging season, than being concerned on whether a handful of fans can get to a nothing game. They are boardcasting it after all for free!

They’ve had Austria lined up since April.

The club should have just published what you’ve said.
