Definitely seems a little bare atm..  I remember always having to manually arrange at least 6 pre-season friendlies during July/August in FM2006, or the entire 1st team squad couldn't get match fit - it might be slightly different in real life, but I don't think 2 is going to do it, somehow?

 

EDIT: OMG - I actually have fm2006 installed - (I didn't think I bothered after I upgraded to my new comp... :O )
